    Super Mario Galaxy 2

    • The good news is that the very best level in the game hands down
    • Only a few levels are superior to the ones from the first Galaxy in the fun department
    • It has less frustrating levels except the very last Star (I forgot what it's called, you have to obtain it in one play through as I vaguely remember), otherwise a solid title.
    • I would have preferred 10 spectacular, mind blowing levels over 50 very good levels errr
    • Both the 2-D and 3-D levels alike feature phenomenal level design
    • Instead, beating the incredibly difficult final level will leave you with a feeling of immense satisfaction
    • Awesome level designs, incredible soundtracks, artistically brilliant, and lots of FUN.I recommend it 100% !!
    • Haven't completed all the levels yet, but its entertaining enough to repeat in an attempt to do it faster, or to collect more coins
    • another terribly bland beach level that reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine
    • The inclusion of Yoshi, new powerups, much more expansive and creative level design, the prettiest graphics on the wii, yet another incredible soundtrack
    • They literally just took a level off the 1st Mario Galaxy and slapped it into this game midway through
    • and are now savoring every level in Galaxy II, usually limiting ourselves to gathering one or two stars an evening
    • Each level feels like a brand new (Mario) game
    • Several levels are flat out boring
    • 3-D Mario+ Phenomenal level design still twists the
    • so I'm guessing this is where all the "hard" levels are going to be, which I'm excited for
    • Its a simple story but the levels are fun to play and this game has a lot of replay value
    • Watching YouTube videos can really help you get through the hardest levels
    • They made some smart adjustments so that you can get through the very hard levels and not get stuck
    • Oh and what's now considered one of the hardest levels of all-time from the first
    • But do we really need an excuse to dive in this galaxy of magic mushrooms, star-bits and coins, secret levels and surprising solutions to, apparently, insurmountable obstacles? The levels blend beautifully 2D and 3D environments and the controls work superbly
    • The graphics are pure nintendo perfect, and the levels or should I say galxies are pure genius
    • The levels got boring.
    • Positives:- long, fun game- control is mostly good and responsive- creative visualsNegatives:- not much different than the first Super Mario Galaxy- camera can be annoying- some levels can be pretty frustrating (mostly the timed ones and bird flying ones)Overall a really fun game that any purchaser should be happy with
    • Luckily on the hard levels, Nintendo has placed check points to help you get through without any anxiety...
    • Every level is exciting, and opening all of the levels is a real challenge
    • I just loved loved loved the original super Mario galaxy, it's levels were so complex and captivating, I couldn't put the controller down
    • The first few levels are fairly easy, whereas some of the third or fourth stars in a galaxy are really tough
    • This is easily the most exciting and coolest level ever for a Mario game
    • The levels are much more expansive and fun to explore
    • Super Mario Galaxy Two has great levels, and excellent play
    • Every level shines with ingenious creativity
    • However these levels ultimately fail to live up to the consistency and plentiful variety that the original presented with the Melty Molten stages and feel more like rehashes, and my goodness, who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to overload this game with so many darn gigantic CHOMP HEADS and OCTOOMBAS
    • One of my favorite levels has you slowing down time to assist you in scaling a giant tower
    • Mario has always been about pinpoint control and perfect level design, two things shown here in spades.
    • The levels are creative, and the difficulty is harder than the previous game
    • But it's the expertly designed levels that will keep you coming back, even after you've seen everything this game has to offer, just to experience it one more time
    • Innovative levels with some throwbacks to the retro days
    • Serious gamers are in for a real treat; this game is consistently challenging without being frustrating.-The level of variety is stunning.
    • Beefing up the two-player mode was a smart call on Nintendo's part, as it allows younger players to participate in the action; the same can be said for the game's offers to take over for you when you just can't get past a damn level.
    • Still, the requirement in memorizing the ramps in Rolling Coaster Galaxy is necessary in order to collect 100 purple coins which easily makes it the second hardest level in the game
    • I loved playing the levels over again in Super Mario 64
    • The levels are inventive and this time, there truly are more than the 120 stars (as opposed to the first game where you just played the same stars with Luigi instead)
    • The levels are amazing, the game looks beautiful, however; it will give you a headache on some of the levels
    • 2 players Skilled players will want to collect new Comet Metals, which will unlock harder levels with even more challengesMario collects stars as he travels from galaxy to galaxy, sometimes upside-down, sometimes floating from place to place
    • The second player acts like a "helper" and can fetch 1-ups and coins for player 1 - perfect for a 5-year old on the harder levels
    • Like I said, just a nitpick really and has nothing whatsoever to do with the fun factor of actually playing these deeply imaginative and super-designed levels
    • No matter how great some games are, they tend to get repetitive at some point, I don't remember this being the case with Mario Galaxy 2 with its amazing level designs.
    • Then again, retrying a level was never more fun
    • While it had some fresh elements, the levels grew stale quickly and defeated the purpose of it being a "galaxy" game where you could actually explore.
    • His favorite is level 6.
    • Yoshi as well has some tasty power-ups like the blimp fruit which makes hime float on air and help you get to certain platforms you couldn't do alone, the bulb fruit which helps you see certain levels that might dissapear when you're in the spooky levels of the ghouls and Boos and levels that might be spooky in the night, and the dash pepper which makes Yoshi move like a speed demon through to help you try to race your way around the extra Zero-G madness
    • I would say the levels were much more intricate & enjoyable with the addition of Yoshi
    • The gameplay, graphics, music, world navigation, level-design, variety, co-op, you name it
    • The boss levels are not impossible, although they require little problem solving
    • The fun factor comes sheerly from excellent level design.6
    • Even the coin-collecting element that is forever entwined with Mario games achieves important levels of usefulness here, which was not the case in SMG1.The comet challenges in this game might very well be even more frustrating and hair-tearingly difficult than they were in SMG1, but here they are set up more as bonuses for advanced players and completists to test themselves with than, say, necessarily a very important chunk of the gameplay itself
    • The levels are awesome too
    • The levels are much easier to access
    • The levels do get a bit challenging once you progress, and, since I am a casual gamer, I would usually give up and not play for days when I was stuck
    • Gorgeous level designs, fantastic power costumes, and rewarding challenges will energize players with an arcade adrenaline reminiscent of Mario 3 and Mario 64
    • The best elements of SMG1 are also back, including the hilarious rolling-ball levels and the bee suit.-While a lot of players seem to love the guy, I don't much care for Yoshi.
    • Very useful on difficult levels, I'd have trouble avoiding all of the enemies without her help
    • My 4-year-old even gets in on the action as the helper, it's the perfect skill level for her to grab the
    • Yoshi isn't 2's saving grace, either: he appears so infrequently and for the same menial tasks that he slips into obscurity behind some of the more engaging enemies and level designs.
    • Almost all levels are a fair and challenging level of difficulty that allows casual players to make it through with enough effort
    • It uses very simple core gameplay mechanics (jump, spin, point, and groundpound) but it uses them in so many ways (including powerups, yoshi, and excellent level design) to create new gameplay mechanics to every level making them fresh and interesting.
    • Then you take into account the absolutely mad level of soaring creativity and imagination that has been packed into every single design aspect of this game, and even accounting for SMG1, you have a game like no other than you have ever played
    • While it had some fresh elements, the levels grew stale quickly and defeated the purpose of it being a "galaxy" game where you could actually explore.
