Super Smash Bros. - Nintendo Wii U

    • In other words, while it gives implication that zoners have to be more strategic, it doesn't justify making them fight an up-hill battle where others characters have progressed while others seem to have stagnated
    • The biggest issue I have with the challenge panel is that there are certain panels you cannot break with a hammer and many of these challenges are pretty much near impossible to beat or require you to accomplish difficult tasks with undesirable characters like Duck Hunt which leads me to my next issue, the character lineup
    • You can tell by the title and intro video they didn't work to make something more creative and new, just like knowing all characters before game even came out.
    • Where's the challenge in that? This is also just a personal thing, but my favorite character was Zelda in Melee and Brawl, but not in this game
    • Another issue I have with this game is it's punishing difficulty, certain characters they chose to have in this game, and DLC
    • My family loves it and we often 'fight' after dinner;) TONS of familiar scenes from other Nintendo games as choices for fighting grounds, the chance to unlock other characters, works with Amiibo figures, and etc
    • But new to this are a collection of Fire Emblem characters such as Robin, for example - but new to this franchise is the inclusion of some pretty sweet DLC characters
    • Why on earth are we getting characters like Ryu, Cloud and Bayonetta
    • so it's pretty exciting to see your favorite Nintendo characters in HD
    • While most of those were already in past installments, and would've been nice if they were in the game to begin with (Mewtwo and Lucas), there all pretty good characters, and there were even a few surprises, such as Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 (a character I recognize more with PlayStation than Nintendo) and Boyenetta (winner of the Smash Ballot), though I feel like there would've been more characters added if Mewtwo and Lucas were already in the game, since they were in past installments
    • So far my favorite characters are Lucario and Link with an emphasis on the quicker fighters.
    • Some old characters are gone now or have been split when previously were one character like Zelda
    • Mad characters,Mad battle arenas.
    • My favorite new characters are Lucina, Rosalina, Pac-Man, and Bayonnetta.
    • Super Smash Bros. There's a first time for everything, right? So after popping this baby in and picking up the controller, nostalgia hit me when I saw some classic stages and old characters from the NES/Sega Genesis days of my childhood
    • The graphics are stunningly gorgeous and it's nice to see all your favorite Nintendo characters in HD
    • More smash goodness and love the new characters'
    • Really cool game, lots of great characters to play, I love it.
    • the Smash bros sires have come a long way, the game play is awesome the characters look awesome, i do kinda miss adventure mode("story") but that’s what melee and brawl is for :)in the long run its a great game for the series im
    • Better characters, bowser junior and duck hunt are cheap and awesome
    • He loves all the new characters and especially loves 8 player smash.
    • Smash tour is like a combination of Mario Party and Kirby Air Ride where you roll a number to walk around a board and you pick up powerups to give your characters a boost for the final fight
    • The new characters are also wonderful
    • Essentially, characters with counters or reflectors have a low-risk, high-reward concept
    • There are some annoying parts of the game, like certain missing characters and the unlocking aspect falling victim to the meanest random number generator I've seen in years, but at it's core: this game is Super Smash Bros through and through and is a must-have for the Wii U.
    • The HD graphics have never complimented such a diverse bunch of lovely characters/levels before
    • 50+ characters is exceptional
    • These are characters that have a memory chip built into the base that when used with the Wii U controller adds a new level to the game, as the avatar learns the way you play and will cause the character on screen to become harder and harder to beat.
    • Awesome game, awesome characters, awesome replay value
    • March and Lucina are great characters, but also far too similar for some people to really tell the difference between them.
    • Many of our classic characters are just lame in this game with characters like toon link being better than link (cmon Nintendo whoever thought of that
    • Many added characters in this one and some really fun new features.
    • The whole family is going to be a part of the action and the amiibo characters are fun to collect and use in the game.
    • certain characters actually are better with certain controllers.1080/60p is amazing graphics
    • Better characters, bowser junior and duck hunt are cheap and awesome
    • Especially if you're playing a fast character
    • Super Smash Bros. abandons this in favor of showing you how much damage each character has sustained.
    • All the characters are fun to play as, even the clones
    • 8 player battle is awesome, its fun just sitting down next to your friends and family wailing on each other with classic characters.
    • That said, I have still enjoyed beating up on the computer with my favorite Nintendo characters and making the Mii classes.
    • Would create for serious unbalancing issues, not that there may be some balancing issues with the vanilla characters as is
    • The characters are pretty cool though.
    • My favorite character is Marth of
    • Each character truly is unique and will appeal to different people, and I LOVE that
    • These characters have every right to garner a spot in one of the best fighting game franchises of all time, and as such, they have been given the same kind of treatment that Nintendo's own characters have been showered with
    • The characters have more balance which makes the game more fun for players who want to enjoy playing as a favourite character, rather than the "Character needed to beat the game"In the past versions some characters were "weaker" and more noticeable than others
    • Super brawler with memorable characters.
    • There are tons of fun modes and exciting new characters
    • What may not necessarily be too good is that just like other versions, you will have some characters that feel too familiar to others.
    • Some characters are still annoying in that they can spam too
    • They’ve taken away a few of the better characters (like Snake and Ice Climbers) and replaced them with 14 new characters
    • PROS:+ Massive improvement over Brawl's gameplay mechanics+ Best character set
    • Some characters are certainly overpowered like Little Mac
    • Really nice and so many characters already given
    • I think it's awesome how each character plays different enough where everyone has a list of preferred characters that is uniquely their own
    • New levels, new characters, new ways to play, heck, even the level of customizability over the user experience is new
    • All of my favorite veteran characters are back like Link, Zelda, Marth, Captain Falcon and Samus.
    • New items include a space invader like enemy that can suck a character off the screen, or the beetle from skyward sword which serves a similar function.
    • the classic mode was a great thing to add, and all the characters are awesome.
    • With tons of awesome characters, this game will last you forever
    • To be able to play a game with all these timeless, beloved Nintendo characters, who have grown up with us for the past two decades, all together like this is a joy beyond joys; Smash Bros. has always been the game to take up that mantle
    • Gameplay looks great in 1080p and I love the new characters
    • Stupidly fun, characters are great, gameplay is SIMPLE almost in a ridiculous scale, although it does not affect the gaming experience
    • Stupidly fun, characters are great, gameplay is SIMPLE almost in a ridiculous scale, although it does not affect the gaming experience
    • The gravity in this is a little weird as well and it makes some characters incredibly vulnerable based on their move sets
    • Somewhat now a model for other franchises by Nintendo, this mashup of famous characters was once just a free-for-all fighting game but evolved to include several game modes that nearly every fan of the characters and original games will enjoy.#1 Selling game before it came out for a reason and one of several outstanding official Nintendo classics (with more to come!
    • Pro:-The mechanics are nearly the same as the predecessors, which is a winning formulaCon:-They changed a lot of things that made previous games good, and added a lot of unnecessary characters and items that cluttered things up considerably
    • , Smash Bros. is a competitive/social fighting game featuring dozens of beloved Nintendo characters beating the tar out of one another, with the ultimate goal of smashing them to their doom off-screen after they've absorbed enough damage
    • It's a massive improvement over the last game with so many good characters and fun gameplay modes
    • The graphics are cool and the characters are fun
    • The textures are good and gives the characters a sort of ssb brawl look with HD of coarse since Brawl was the first in the series to feature excellent textures to characters clothing
    • I also enjoyed the many characters there were to choose from, and the fact that more could be unlocked
    • All of your favorite characters are represented
    • They changed some awesome features in my favorite characters like the height of Pikachu's lightning
    • Online can be laggy, some of the classic characters' moves are slightly different, so I am forced to relearn how to play with them.
    • So many great things about this game, wonderful sound and game design as well as characters
    • The updates help relieve boredom for a while but the newer characters are getting worse and worse
    • 460+ tracks, 650+ trophies, 46 stages, 44 characters from Nintendos' best
    • Smash bros now has characters like duck hunt, little mac, and megaman.
    • Why should having Smash for 2 different platforms FORCE the creators to separate characters?
    • There are some beloved characters that are gone now (bye bye Ice Climbers), but the new additions more than make up for it (the absolutely perfect classic Mega Man character alone makes it worth it)
    • I love the large roster size and all the DLC characters that you can download
    • If you want all your favorite Nintendo characters in one battle this is it
    • Some characters are certainly overpowered like Little Mac
    • Running and trying to quickly use a smash with the c stick or a jump attack with the c stick will be read by the game as you tackling or jumping in mid air using a neutral attack
    • I would recommend this game for families as it is simple enough for children to play but also fun for adults who want to relive their childhood games.
    • It's just as fun and fast as it's always been, and it's still the easiest
    • My husband prefers his 3DS as a
    • Playing with friends has been a very smooth, lag-free, and super fun experience on the other hand; it ran as well as if we were sitting in the same room
