Plugged in Bose portable speaker in the headphone jack.... EXCELLENT!

The audio is just about worthless, but I added some inexpensive USB powered speakers to it, and it now sounds pretty good.

If only they had spent a few pennies more on a decent speaker...

The speakers are fine - loud enough and not too tinny sounding

I could have purchased a bigger/better speaker, but the sound is acceptable and much better than what it came with

Added a portable speaker and BAM!

I've seen other reviews suggesting adding a speaker to improve the poor sound quality.

It allows me to listen to news programs that I enjoy as I get ready for the morning.
