Most important...be sure you have a good antenna.

I was impressed by its reception just using the extendable metal antenna

Only picks up a very limited number of stations unless connected to cable or a very large, not portable, antenna.

Good little portable, a little shy on the portabilty, and the tuner needs to be better for fringe areasPicture quality is very good, and using external antennas is recommended.

I had to add a better antenna.

I had to use a stronger antenna because the one supplied did not pick up many signals.

As others have mentioned the antenna is not very good, I would recommend by another one.

I then hooked it up to a powerful MOHU antenna and still received no channels

I purchased this tv for when power goes out,works well,made well,NOTE,the antenna that comes with not good at all,but if you purchas the DTA240 highgrain digital TV aerial,you'll be very pleased

The internal antenna that you must connect with was very loose and broke when I tried connecting with their external antennas

Have to lead it out of the window...invest in a flexible antenna!

This antenna is not good at all.

It has a great picture and great sound, once I got the correct antenna.

The telescopic antenna is not very good unless you are right near a TV station.

Very weak in receiving signals, bought additional high gain portable antenna but did not help

Nice except gets no channels with included antenna and only one channel when connected to a roof top antenna (that receives all channels when connected to big TV).Defective or just insensitive (the TV, not me)

The tv works really well with a roof top antenna with a signal booster

Needed a stronger antenna--after we purchased a more powerful antenna, it has worked beautifully.

You definately need to get a better antenna if you use it in a variety of locations, like I do on the road with my semi.

My camper has a very capable amplified Winegard Metrostar antenna

So for me, the "monitor" still works as I can carry it with me to check our (church) various cameras... but for most, without that stand... dunno
