Although the instruction "manual" was pretty sad, essentially a one page document with a parts list and some bad quality drawings, assembling the arm was pretty straightforward and didn't really require much more if you are somewhat technically inclined.

I bought the articulating arm to use of my LCD monitor to get it off my desk
