The paper gives the heated(softened) plastic the rigidity it needs to not crinkle and jam
-
I did notice a slight plastic burning smell coming
-
The plastic is a little sturdier than what I'm used to (school laminator, I'm a teacher)
-
Upon initial use it did emit a slight odor (melting plastic) but it was not noticed on the next few uses.
-
The only issue with it is that the laminator is made from cheap plastic and had a burnt plastic smell the first time it was used, but other than that I would highly recommend this for the price.
-
Does have a plastic burning smell, but it hasn't knocked me unconscious yet.

Now that her work has matured into a semi Jackson pollackesque phase, with "scribbling and bibbling" galore, it becomes all the more important to contain the genius for posterity.it is easy to use, just put a page into a sleeve and allow the laminator to slowly consume the p age wrapping the work in a plastic cocoon

Great little laminator l!
-
The machine was much quieter than expected and laminated at a decent speed, not as fast as I would
-
I laminated 90 items with the thicker 5mil pouches as fast as they could feed through the machine without a single problem.
-
Could not recommend as it is clearly not durable.

I used to have the purple cow laminator which broke (I think it was my fault it broke), and this swingline one laminates VERY slowly compared to the purple cow one
