The ready light never comes on again

Although the red "power" light is easily visible from just about any angle, the green "ready" light to let you know when the device is heated up and ready to go is less visible, and so I can't tell whether it's on unless I position my head directly over the light

The green ready light however is very hard to see.

After waiting ten minutes for the ready light and thinking I had a DOA, I looked straight down from above

Her only complaint is that it takes a few minutes to fire up (most laminators do) but also the green ready light isn't exactly bright once it is ready

I have used mine 5 or more times and each time it was close to 15 minutes before the ready light came on

It feels like a toy, its super light and portable

I didn't know I had to stand above the ready light to see it was on

The ready light is on, so I just slip one in just in case.

That's in part because the green light is less bright, and in part because the lights are set in relatively deeply into the device

Assuming you want to laminate, you simply let the unit warm up until the ready light comes on, then go

I used to have the purple cow laminator which broke (I think it was my fault it broke), and this swingline one laminates VERY slowly compared to the purple cow one
