After the second time of using the laminator, it started making a weird knocking or clicking noise once it got hot

It smelt weird, made weird noises and when the page came out, the top would be bent in

but the noise is a bit concerning since it's only used once in awhile.

They work well but it does have a humming noise when I leave it on without running through the next sheet immediately

I used to have the purple cow laminator which broke (I think it was my fault it broke), and this swingline one laminates VERY slowly compared to the purple cow one
