This is a nice heavy quality stapler - Swingline always is!

The design is very poor and gives the great Swingline name a black eye.

This isn't as sturdy as my Red Swingline Stapler that I use at the Office, but being cheaply made is sometimes a plus since it's less likely to get stolen.

Yes, I can tell that it's cheaply made, with plastic replacing the metal on the "classic" Swingline staplers

Pony up the few more dollars for the Swingline metal standard stapler - they work much better - this model consistently breaks for me; it either loses the ability o feed staples or loses the ability to fold the backs of the staples over

Classic Swingline meets modern sleekness, and keeps its quality and durability

Unfortunately I have used more expensive Swingline staplers only to have them jam constantly and misstaple important documents repeatedly, so I would look for a different brand altogether.
