And also, the display is VERY hard to read when the unit is in stand-by mode (i.e., "off") and there are steps (like setting the clock) that can only be done when the unit is in standby mode

When the unit is on, the radio station is displayed and not dimmed.

The time and station display are a little hard to read if the light is not just right.

The FM radio worked, the blue tooth interface to my iphone worked, the clock worked but the display was dim, twenty station programmability worked, CD worked, the remote worked, and all the other buttons seemed to worked.

FM reception is pretty good for fringey stations (better than the dead GE model that this one replaced); the display and user interface are clear and simple
