It is the right model

same model number but an older model.

The one sent to me looks cheap and like garbage compared to this one pictured even though the model number matches

so clearly they changed the model but kept the model number

Gift for 85 yr old mother as her last one died (diff model & very old).

FM reception is pretty good for fringey stations (better than the dead GE model that this one replaced); the display and user interface are clear and simple

The controls on the unit are so small i have to use a magnifier to read them so the remote would really e useful!
