My daughters love this, but I bought it with the hopes that they could plug in headphones and listen to audio books on CD... and once you plug in headphones, it automatically turns off

Amazon refunded as soon as we returned though.

No it didn't my mom went use it today and CD stopped working as of today so don't buy this.
