Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing

    • I loved this book because teh people in the book are so much like me
    • Maybe people criticized this book because they didn’t want to accept the truth and reality of what their preteen daughters were really thinking, experiencing, and going through at the time
    • Some people would boil it down to her age, but I disagree
    • It's a wonder how these people ever managed to raise such a paragon as Peter only to then fall clueless under the spell of his spoiled little brother
    • (...)it makes girls who are "different" feel like they are bad people.
    • If people are really concerned with any of the content of the book, try talking to your child about it
    • What I learned about others is that some people may seem perfect, but really noone is perfect
    • It is not only unwise to think that we can somehow create a reality in which young people go around oblivious to the facts of life, but downright negligent
    • Now, real, healthy people do have problems, always have and always will.
    • Now, real, healthy people do have problems, always have and always will.
    • And Peter's problem is:It burns me up the way people treat Fudge
    • It burns me up the way people treat Fudge
    • Many young people have the same concerns, so I believe that the religious questions only make Margaret a deeper person
    • First I want to tell you this book is for mature people
    • (...)it makes girls who are "different" feel like they are bad people.
    • When some people are miserable they want to make other people miserable to
    • And at fourteen, it's still like that - the flat people don't care that much, none of us obsess about boys, or being popular, or blah blah blah
    • If this happened today, Tony would probably go out and shoot people because "girls don't like him".Hoenstly this book is toxic and I just would like to suggest that if you are triggered by stalking or sexual assault please be very careful reading this book.
