perfect zoom lens for me!

The zoom is magnificent and the lens switches on and off the camera quite easily.

It has an incredible zoom since its 70-300mm but Nikon D40/D60 owners be aware because those 2 models don't bring an Auto Focus motor built into the camera, but its always good to get used to Manual Focus like I am doing because there are some situations where the AF is not the best

This lens gave us just enough zoom to make birding photography possible

All in all, if you're not a professional photog and you want a great macro zoom lens at a good price, this one should do the job.

Although this lens has nice zoom features, it is slow to focus on a subject in either AF or Manual modes.

Wish I had the money for the better model with image stabilization because zooming way in really emphasizes camera shake but not a fault of this lens.
