know if the drivers came blown or if this was how it is supposed to sound, but according to the description it should have rich deep bass

My Sony MDR-XB50BS extra bass earbuds have much stronger bass, even though they are only earbuds

The sound quality is outstanding.with or without ANC does not matter if you use Bluetooth or the provided cable; the sound is always great with good bass, mids and highs

Now, the sound is pretty good, but I am kind of bass head, and these headphones don't have that great bass

The ANC works well, no issues with Bluetooth, listening with the 3.5 mm cable works well and the sound is overall very good, though a bit bass heavy.
