The passive mode is just about the worst thing you could put on a speaker system

When the speaker is actually working it sounds great, unfortunately even while gaming where there is constant noise it will go into passive mode and turn off all sounds

Every time there is no sound input, even for a split second, it will go into the passive mode with flashing green light instead of solid green light, and some of the audio will be missed when it tries to turn the sound back on

Some other reviews said the passive mode delay disappeared when in Bluetooth mode, but I was looking specifically for an AUX speaker.

What made it completely unusable for me was the "passive mode

I read the reviews about the passive mode and thought I could deal with it

There is a tiny green & blue LED that stays on solid or blinks indicating modes

I'm not sure how this wasn't mentioned by other reviewers, but this soundbar has a passive mode when it doesn't detect a sound signal

The speaker is nice, the look is very appealing but the problem is, it has a passive mode which it almost immediately goes in to

The problem is that the speaker switches very quickly into passive mode when a sound is not playing.

You can also determine the mode through the sound indicators as well

However, the reviewer who wrote about the speaker going into "passive mode" is spot on.

And taking the advise of the tech, the original sound bar no longer cuts out as frequently (passive mode will turn on if the volume is too low, and I have very sensitive hearing)
