    Tascam US-16X08 16x8 channel USB Audio Interface

    • Bottom line: with version 1.01, the device works great with Reaper but is still having problems with Sonar
    • The new driver solves these issues and your left a very good good device for most situations.
    • So, in summary, this is a great little device that you can basically rent from tascam at $150 per year.
    • Now the device works as designed on the USB3 port on my laptop but still fails on the USB2 ports in the manner described
    • Quite a shame, otherwise great device but hard to overlook these two issues.
    • There was one driver failure, but I went to the Tascam site and downloaded the updates for firmware and drivers and after they were installed my device manager showed the US2X2 device properly installed and ready for action

    • This is an easy device to setup and it works right out of the box
    • Due to the edgy DAC it's not my favorite device for iTunes playback or editing tracks--I mainly use it for recording--but, for the price, I'm a happy camper!Fall 2015 Update
