    Tascam US-2x2 USB Audio Interface

    • This device has been a major game changer for me and had it only supported the recording of 8 discrete channels, like the competitors' products, that would not have been case
    • While you dont here the latency while recording, the play back sounds off time.
    • and I think the reasons are obvious, an Audio interface is supposed to.. well... RECORD AND SEND AUDIO FROM YOUR COMPUTER
    • The mic pres are really nice, quiet, and record well
    • As far as I am concerned this product is worthless ... because I cannot get a decent recording out of it.
    • It may seem like I'm asking for too much but this unit at the great price of $300 is obviously targeted to users with basement and garage "studios" who may likely be recording themselves
    • Use MME multi-client and have great playback and no recording
    • Use ASIO single-client and have great playback and great recording
    • This is great for use when recording with two people.
    • Excellent recording gear for a good price.
    • [High end interface sound for pc music enjoyment as well as simultaneous multiple instrument recording.
    • I came to the TASCAM from a simple AKG PERCEPTION 120 USB condenser mic which had been working well, but I wanted a way to use a high quality dynamic mic which would not require the silent recording environment that a sensitive condenser mic always will
    • Happy recording and audio editing.
    • But now I'm able to have extremely low latency, low noise, and a completely portable recording solution that fits my needs perfectly
    • If you are looking for a great 4-channel recording interface without spending a fortune, this is the one to get!
    • So far an excellent basic recording unit for me and for my limited budget.1
    • More recently, I was toying with the idea of a Tascam or Fostex 4- or 8-track recorder, but to me the days of those machines has passed, owing to the power of today's home computers, the sophistication of modern recording software, and the relatively low cost of hard drives and flash storage technology
