It's a great deal for a 16 input interface... but extremely disappointing when it works worse than a no brand toy from china, when its TASCAM!!!

When you select your track input, you have to select left port for 1 and 3 and select the right port for 2 and 4.Overall, the Tascam US-4x4 is nice sturdy and easy to use product

I was considering the (currently more expensive) M-Audio M-Track Eight and Presonus 1818VSL units, but chose the TASCAM in the end and boy

This happened with my M-Audio Fast Track Pro which worked very well too but some power surge killed its output (just the interface fortunately) and decided to replace it with this Tascam.
