I'd still like to see Tascam address these issues, especially the EQ / compression

It's a great deal for a 16 input interface... but extremely disappointing when it works worse than a no brand toy from china, when its TASCAM!!!

The Tascam US-4x4 interface and the Ableton Live 9 Lite software work great

So if you are looking to produce better sound for your podcasts, this Tascam is worth the price, which is quite affordable for what you get

I have to say I'm impressed with how solid the TASCAM US-2x2 feels

The one time the device seemed to disappear from my computer, unplugging and restarting the TASCAM solved the problem instantly

I wanted to use it heavy for months at a stretch and then really see if it's like the classic Tascam gear

Will not work with Windows 10 and Tascam does not seem to care

Though slow to react to the need of a better driver, tascam offers a great product here

When you select your track input, you have to select left port for 1 and 3 and select the right port for 2 and 4.Overall, the Tascam US-4x4 is nice sturdy and easy to use product

and it is good to know that the TASCAM should support that just as well

Used this Tascam with Cubase 7 and Audacity 1.0.2 and works ok

Luckily, this TASCAM works well with GarageBand that comes with Macs already

I was considering the (currently more expensive) M-Audio M-Track Eight and Presonus 1818VSL units, but chose the TASCAM in the end and boy

This happened with my M-Audio Fast Track Pro which worked very well too but some power surge killed its output (just the interface fortunately) and decided to replace it with this Tascam.
