I love thee way this shampoo smells and the feeling in my scalp, it has help a lot to calm the itchiness and dandruff that I had from the eczema in my hair
Tingling sensation, you know how your mouth feels when you have a mint, your head feels exactly the same, cool mint feel when washing, this stuff is the best tea tree
This product is great for both hot n dry conditions or humid n hot
That said it has a cooling sensation on your skin and hair that is very refreshing.

Why I’m in love: I have always bought cheaper shampoo/conditioner sets because the really expensive stuff never seemed different to me when I tried them

I've used Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner before and didn't buy it for a long time because of the steep price
The price is a lil too pricey but the convenience of getting it from amazon comes right to your door.
Can’t find a better price or more convenient way to get it.

it’s kinda waves, if any frizz shows (thinner hair people) then I follow with clear bottle of bio silk silk therapy on wet or dry mid to ends makes frizz go away and doesn’t look oily, the price at any drug store will be over $20 for a small container therefore your less tempted to put to much in

My biggest complaint is that the way the shampoo was shipped, it leaked and I lost about an 8th of the shampoo into the box

This product caused an adverse reaction that required medical intervention
but I had a weird reaction after using this three times.
Caution though, my pump became loose in shipping and some of the shampoo had leaked out.
The Amazon box smelled strongly of peppermint and herbs, and I opened the packaging to find that the shampoo had leaked a little in its wrapping, although I have yet to open it to shower with, I can only hope that the leak is a minor issue, and that the shampoo is fine

I also ordered the conditioner ...it was not sealed and smelled very chemical.
like:the conditioner isn’t as moisturizing as I’d like for how well it strips oil off my hair, but a bi-weekly mask when I use my dandruff shampoo has fixed that issue and the conditioner does fine in between
In an industry that is clearly trending towards safer, more organic products with less chemicals, I'm surprised and disappointed that Paul Mitchell is so slow to upgrade its products and remove unnecessary dyes and chemicals
Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo has a Proposition 65 warning, meaning the chemicals used in the shampoo and conditioner are on the State of California's list of harmful chemicals that studies have shown to be associated with cancer.
I get an off feeling that this bottle was tampered and filled with unknown chemicals.
I enjoy using the clean-smelling blueish shampoo, but the bottle it comes in needs to be replaced.

The end of the bottle also started to really burn my eyes
The mint is so strong it gives my eyes a burning sensation after I've rinsed it out
My only caution would be that you do have to be very careful not to get any of this in your eyes as the tea tree oil will burn eyes and irritate very sensitive skin.
Smells super harsh and like chemicals and it burned my eyes
My eyes are a little sensitive to it, so I definitely need to avoid getting lather anywhere near my eyes, or wiping my eyes before I've thoroughly rinsed my hands, but it's a nice shampoo
