That this unit does just fine

The unit works fine but unfortunately the remote did not work

unit has the usual teac quality, but remote does not work power on-off or open-close carosel drawer

The unit was easy to install, and after about a month of use, mechanically seems to be OK.

It's not the electronics that go on these inexpensive units, it's the mechanisms.

They replaced the defective unit with a new one and it also wouldn't read the disc in the 5th tray

Even though the unit was fine, while it lasted, I certainly couldn't recommend it, if you want to play it more than once every two months.

I did look at 5 disc DVD/CD players, but the units were bulkier and too deep for my stereo cabinet
