Not only was the sound mediocre at best, I believe the octafilter portion was defective.

The XLR out allows you to go directly for bigger events or churches with solid sound systems.

Whenever you would engage/disengage it with the octofilter enabled, it would pop and crack and instead of getting the nice octo sound, you would get static and

eventhough it can squash the signal, these abilities give you a chance to even everything out 3)Boost(you can use this pre-sansamp for a nice extra boost or post-sansamp for a nice overdrive sound

It has a great sound for any bass you connect at the input
