The cover purchased in 2014 just cracked after being dropped but the phone screen was fine

The only time the screen protector failed was when one of my kids dropped the phone without a case, right on the corner, and the screen protector stayed intact but the underlying phone screen cracked. :-(

Bought for my wife who dropped it on some rocks and broke first drop.
