    Terk Indoor AM Antenna ADVANTAGE

    • This antenna does the trick
    • Then I read the instructions, which are almost pointless because the antenna is so easy to use.
    • This antenna solved our reception problems simply and with no increased in power consumption for our house.
    • For receiving AM radio, this is actually worse than the small cheap antenna that was incuded with my new stereo receiver
    • The TERK AM antenna is a best designed antenna, and TERK did it right this time, lets see if they can conquer the same with FM someday.
    • Keep in mind that this antenna's impact is not as great on radios like these that already have above average AM reception.
    • Good Antenna that works as advertised.
    • This tuned loop antenna is an excellent choice for radios that lack an internal antenna (old radios and many modern AM/FM stereo receivers) or radios that have a mediocre internal antenna
    • This antenna made a minor improvement in the AM reception for the stations I have trouble with
    • I went from minimal am reception - to enhanced clarity up to 60 miles away- terrific antenna for my needs
    • I knew it was a roll of the dice; everyone's situation is different, and no antenna will work equally well for everyone
    • The antenna actually works better just sitting next to the radio without the hookups
    • This antenna is not perfect but definitely helps
    • The Terk Advantage antenna impoved the reception only slightly.
    • I bought this antenna to improve the reception of a AM Radio station that is 35 miles from here and does not have a strong signal
    • I read many reviews about the Terk AM Advantage Antenna
    • Also is totally unusable if your Stereo Receiver scans for signals; the Terk AM Advantage is already so poor an antenna, it will never find signals in the first place.
    • Perhaps one of the other reviewers received a defective antenna - although I can see where one would be disappointed if they just plugged the antenna in and were expecting amazing results (which may be the case for that person).
    • This antenna is fantastic
    • Now, that could be due to the fact that many AM stations must lower their power at sunset, and some are even required to sign off so, don't expect this antenna to work miracles
    • I have no idea how it works, but I figure if I can touch a radio and become an "antenna," causing the reception to change, then this antenna must work using the same physical process
    • This antenna is passive so it will collect whatever AM signals reach it; however, if a station doesn't broadcast its signal strongly enough to reach the antenna then this antenna will not be able to collect it
    • This antenna is a best AM antenna for the baseball, news, GeorgeNoory(Coast to Coast AM) listener.
    • This antenna did not improve my AM reception at all
    • This antenna made take radio a TON more enjoyable to listen to
    • It is better than the free AM antenna one gets with a receiver purchase, just not $30 better, IMO.What I wasn't expecting is that you have to manually tune this antenna every time you change to a different AM channel.
    • I had tried other antenna's with my K3 ham radio and they did not work at all, for AM talk radio
    • First let me say there are no magic antennas that are going to revolutionize your AM reception
    • This antenna is fantastic
    • This is a very good antenna for improving weak AM broadcast signals.
    • Bose recommended the antenna since I'm unable to get AM stations.
    • The antenna is made pretty well, but it does not make much difference in most cases I've found
    • This Antenna is really great
    • The AM advantage is a good looking, very helpful antenna that helps dramatically on some radio's and really helps with pinpointing the signal on my better radio's.
    • Massachusetts). The Terk is small enough so that it can sit behind the set unseen (as a modern loop antenna just doesn't look right sitting atop a vintage tombstone radio)--aesthetically much nicer than wire strung around the room
    • I was a bit worried based on a previous review, but am relieved to report that this antenna is GREAT!
    • I've had powered/amplified antennas in the past that don't work as well as the TERK does.
    • They both went back to Amazon, because my Tecsun PL-380, PL-660 with the AN-200 antenna outperformed them.
    • Prior to use of this product, I had zero AM reception using my nearly 20 year old Kenwood receiver that has the flimsy poor quality wire loop antenna.
    • My only nitpick, but it does not detract from the overall quality of this item which is high and I do not regret purchasing this antenna.
    • Overall, I recommend this antenna as a low cost way to get better AM radio reception.
    • with the dial, tuning the station on the radio off-peak to the point that you can just barely hear it, then fine-tuning the antenna by ear, then fine-tuning the radio
    • I had my doubts that this would work (an antenna that can improve reception without even being connected...right!).
    • Pretty good antenna, but it almost doubled in price from August to December
    • This antenna improved my AM reception by 50% or more
    • I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend this antenna!!!
    • Stations that come in with lots of static can often be made to sound clear, or at least listenable to, through the magic of placing the antenna close to the radio and then fine-tuning the antenna to match the particular station
    • I have tried other antennas and this one works the best I own two of them one at the cottage and one at home.
    • I am very pleased and would recommend this antenna for anyone that wants to improve poor reception
    • but I think some of the really cheap antennas are a false value so in this case you get what you pay for.
    • Great antenna, works wonderful
    • Great antenna, works wonderful
    • This antenna has completely cleared up and removed the distortion on channels and has brought in some others that I couldnt even get before.
    • This antenna is simply amazing for sucking in that AM signal.
    • A long-wire antenna works better for me.
    • The antenna is working perfectly, bringing in both FM and AM beautifully.
    • I was surprised, since I had read good reviews of it, and because I have bought numerous Terk antennas in the past, and have liked them.
    • Tuning dial on antenna critical, good calibration of dial
    • So, if you have weak AM reception now, this antenna will almost certainly improve it dramatically
    • So if you work in a building where radio signals are hard to come by, try this antenna.
    • The Terk antenna has improved reception noticeably and made these stations "listenable" much more of the time
    • This antenna is AMAZING...
    • I like this antenna
    • A good, large antenna brings weak signals in stronger
    • The Terk antennae fixed all problems
    • This antenna has good gain and since it is passive you don't have to worry about batteries or an AC adaptor.
    • This antenna works with or without its connection cable (just place the antenna next to the radio)
    • This antenna solved the problem.
    • This antenna pretty much solved my reception problem
    • if i had not used this antenna i would not believe it this has to be one of the best antennas made
    • This antenna is not powerful enough to pull in a very weak distant station, but will do a good job of improving reception and cleaning up the signal on local stations
    • Fair antenna, has to be turn to receive signal.
    • If you have a high-end portable radio (usually $150 plus) with an excellent internal antenna, you may not see much improvement; you can't receive signals that do not exist (more about this below). You can use the antenna by connecting it directly to the radio, if the radio has antenna terminals
    • Excellent antenna for AM radio and can be used w/o the enclosed plug-in
    • Tuning dial on antenna critical, good calibration of dial
    • I recently bought the Terk AM Advantage antenna to improve the AM reception on my Tivoli Model Two radio
    • I just got this tuned AM loop antenna along with a turntable, (Lazy Susan), for my AM/FM radios and this antenna is amazing
    • So I guess it works as
    • The Terk advantage took a barely understandable and really annoying signal on both the radios I mentioned and brought them in strong enough as to be almost static free
    • Didn't boost my am reception as we had hoped
