I was looking at a few otoscopes and although there were others that were lower in price, I found that this product was easy to use, had a nice app that installed easily on the iphone, had the necessary features and also had a nice compact case that was easy to bring along with your toiletry kit on your travels

Also, now I know for sure that ear swabs work as they must work, and one of the myths, such as "clogging ears with earwax when using a swab," is busted - I know for sure it's clean

You are limited as to how far/ the angles you can get in the ear

With the unit controlling the camera, one can adjust the amount of light that illuminates the inside of the ear as well as to either take stills or video.

purchased 09/20 app no longer works as of 05/21 camera is now useless

It helps ensures ear wax is not causing any blockage and helps with cleaning as you can see what you are actually doing
