You can safely and gently remove ear wax looking at a clear view of the ear canal

if you don't want to (to me, it's a a better view without them!

As a pediatric ER doctor, this camera gives an amazing view of the TM, far better than an average otoscope.

A few seconds is not enough to learn how to use it, especially to learn how to manipulate to get the best view.

Was a bit tricky to get it working, but rather intriguing, the whole family took turns viewing the inside of their ears.

I was not using a large amount of pressure/force due to the inability of the app to focus, and provide a decent view, because I can't see well enough to confidently apply any pressure when removing wax.

I have maybe gotten a clear view once, and it took me the entire 20-30 minutes of fully charged battery life to get there.

You can't plug it in to a charger during use, so a vicious circle is created if searching for a decent view, if you find one, there is no battery life to get back in to remove the wax.

But it provides a great view and picture quality.

You can easily take pictures and share with your md via email or in person and offers a great quality view of the tympanic membrane

Amazingly clear view of inner ear

Second, the probe is long and narrow enough to get a good view of the eardrum in most adults, but with ear specula (plastic shields) included with the unit limit probe penetration into the canal but at least a third...a darn good idea to protect the eardrum in the hands of novice users....but with long, curvy or hairy ear canals one is challenged to get into a good position to view the drum.

It took a little getting used to in order to learn how to scoop earwax properly, since your view is 360, so normal hand eye coordination won't work
