I loved the easy assembly, and this shelving unit is exactly what I needed to organize my yarn stash in my small apartment.

This plus side to the flexible connectors is that they don't break during assembly (as with the Whitmor unit I've also bought) ... but they also allow the unit to "spontaneously disassemble" if any kind of weight is added to it
