    Textured Vegetable Protein Chunks, 1 lb.

    • I would recommend these chunks ONLY BECAUSE we knew what to expect, and re-hydrated them in seasoned vegetable stock, and then cooked them a good, long time with seasonings
    • Warning: marinate the chunks at least overnight and cook the chunks for at least 30 minutes in a sauce of your choice and enjoy on pasta, rice, or salads.
    • This is an excellent protein chunk best used with dishes that have a strongish taste as the protein itself does have a bit of its own taste, a sort of generic weak veggie taste which is not unpleasant but you will want to mask it, i use it in soups and fake Shepherds pies !
    • The chunks are a lot like (in texture) the beef my mom used to use in vegetable soup.
