The Anchor - THE ORIGINAL Under-Desk Headphone Stand Mount

    • The Anchor Is not made out of hard plastic so it won't break or crack by any type of accident.
    • The Anchor itself is made out of a tough but flexible plastic, and even with two cats constantly playing with it it refuses to fall down
    • At first I thought this was going to be some sort of hard plastic, but it’s a softer feeling silicone of sorts which is a plus
    • It's not solid plastic, and I like the fact that it's a pliable, yet solid silicone, so it doesn't damage anything and it easily accepts little mistakes you might make grabbing or setting the headphones you have down
    • I tried it on finished wood, unfinished wood, and plastic
    • Is comprised of tough and sturdy, yet flexible plastic
    • Peeled off the plastic covering the adhesive pad, pressed it firmly to the bottom of my wooden desk, and it was stuck straight away
    • The construction of the anchor feels durable and has flexibility instead of being rigid hard plastic.
    • Not only that but the construction is not solid plastic, but a rather soft polymer that bends
    • my only complaint is that the plastic over the adhesive was a little harder to remove than i expected.
    • They are flexible, made of some sort of rubber or soft plastic, yet firm enough for safe support
    • Just as an FYI, this is a flexible, rubbery piece, not hard plastic.
    • Not awesome for holding anything really heavy because it's not rigid plastic, its very flexible like rubber.
    • Nicely made... soft plastic feels very quality.
    • Just as an FYI, this is a flexible, rubbery piece, not hard plastic.
    • The material is a thick smooth rubber/silicone (which I didn't realize upon ordering, but now I'm glad that it is that material) and thus it has some flex/give to it, which is great, it will hold up longer than if it was hard plastic.
    • The surface of the anchor there is pretty smooth plastic, and merely sticking the 3M pad doesn't seem to securely keep it on when it is put under weight.
    • The construction of the anchor feels durable and has flexibility instead of being rigid hard plastic.
    • I like the soft rubber feel much better than previous hard plastic ones I've used before
    • I was surprised that the headphone mount is made out of a flexible rubber rather than hard plastic
    • I cleaned the plastic on the underside of a monitor with a couple of alcohol wipe pads, let it dry and stuck it on.
    • This mount is made of solid feeling soft plastic/rubber
    • A suggestion for a future model would be to have a strong plastic core and mold the silicone around it to give it a little extra rigidity it needs
    • Only issue I had was getting the plastic off the adhesive to stick it to my desk
    • The flexing in the rubber allows the weight to all be distributed so that the pulling force is even across the sticky surface, whereas with rigid plastic the force would be uneven and concentrated on a smaller area
    • Not hard plastic, made of a silicone or rubber-type material that supports the weight of every headphone I've used it with.
    • Strong sturdy plastic and does the trick or two perhaps
    • Holds up very well, this is not rigid plastic, it's malleable and silky to the touch, feels and looks premium
    • I think this product is great for what it is intended for but I went in buying this thinking that it was going to be a hard plastic but to find out that it was flimsy rubber
    • Hard plastic would have snapped
    • Maybe if they made one out of harder plastic and then put rubber around it to protect the headset
    • I expected this product to be a cheap plastic hook with adhesive tape and man was I wrong
    • It's not hard plastic but rather a grippy hard rubber that allows for some
    • I expected it to be rigid plastic
    • I wasn't certain of the placement of the anchor, so I barely pushed it up to the bottom of the desk surface (which is glass), hung one set of headphones on it as a
    • Worked exactly as I expected it to, and that's a good thing.
    • If this ever comes back to amazon, I HIGHLY recommend it as it seems a great upgrade to the The Anchor Original and well worth the $16.95 I paid (a $5 premium over the $11.95 price at the time of writing)
    • If you accidentally put in somewhere where you could smack your knee or something on it, it won't hurt as it's hard flexible rubber so A+ for that
    • Just disappointed as I didn't see anyone else having this problem.
    • Works exactly as you'd like, with a strong adhesion
    • Works exactly as I expected
    • Holds my cheap T-con headphones and my pricey noise-cancelers at the same time.
    • Super soft and flexable coating on a rigid t frame.
    • well i like
