    The Castlevania Adventure

    • This might appeal to those gamers out there who are determined to overcome even the most difficult games even if it kills them
    • If you are into the more classic platforming game play of the classic
    • In contrast Castlevania 2 Belmont's Revenge is outstanding and one of the best games on the Gameboy system.
    • Those that got into this series during the 'Metroidvania' phase obviously won't like this game because of the pacing and difficulty, however fans of the original format may find a decent amount of things they will like on this adventure.
    • This game blows and is the black sheep and worst Castlevania game in the entire series.
    • This is a flat-out terrible game, it is not even worth the few dollars to buy it.
    • Overall it's a great game; fun and challenging.
    • Yes this game is even worse than Castlevania 64.
    • Tough old game but very fun annnd in great shape
    • I know there's only 4 stages, but it would still be nice to have one, especially considering that most far easier Game Boy games use passwords
    • It's not the easiest game in the world
    • castlevania the adventure is the greatest video game in the world a true classic the best of the best buy this game if your a huge castlevania fan you wont be sorry
    • All that said, I do love this game, but it's not easily playable
    • The game doesn't even allow you to attack with your whip while suspended on ropes, like you can in the game's sequel, 'Belmont's Revenge'
    • The enemies are similar in their lack of familiarity: the game has zombies, but they appear to be made out of mud or slime and are nothing like traditional ones, bats are present but behave much different then in traditional castlevanias, bone pillars have been replaced by stationary monster heads who shoot fireballs that bounce around the screen, and axe knights have been substituted by lightly armored freaks that throw actual boomerangs, rather than axes that move like boomerangs.
    • Given how hard this game is, though, it's probably not a bad thing to have some reprieve
    • The game is so frustrating because of the
    • The graphics are about a three star, but it's still a great game
    • It gets the second star only because some people consider all terribly difficult games to be a challenge and they might enjoy it somewhat
    • I understand that gameboy games are limited, but this game was particularly aggravating to me
    • This is without a doubt the worst Castlevania game in the series, and yes I am taking the N64 game into consideration here
