    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    • Too bad- you're forced to dive into menus as a magic user
    • Typically Bethesda's stories fall along the lines, " Lowly rat become fiery warrior and saves the kingdom from evil forces trying to take over
    • The only useful shouts are the basic Unrelenting Force, Ice Form, Elemental Fury (debatable), and Mark of Death (there are over 20 different Shouts).
    • Its a simple yet effective mechanic, and I swear, I never grow tired of seeing enemies plunge to their deaths from tall cliffs as I unleash Unrelenting Force before them, so the shouts themselves are useful in a way that complements the already satisfying magic system
    • since it's so damn slow to level up you're forced to put perks into your main skills only, but what if I wanted to level up my speak skill because found item price is different from what it is actually sold as, nope, you're better of putting into your main skill
    • It means, in the dovah (dragon) language, `unrelenting force.
    • It is, at its core, an unrelenting force
    • The result of that particular Dragon Shout is to fling the character(s) in front of you flying like rag dolls, but the Unrelenting Force Shout is only one of a great many similar powers, and even then, the Shouts are only one tiny feature of a game that is so robust it hardly seems capable of a fair review
    • But beyond that, the vision of the artists shows through with unrelenting force
    • b/c his friend had it & a must for his game collection as well.
