The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - Lionheart Edition - PlayStation Vita

    • Trails of Cold Steel is superior in almost every way.
    • I suggest playing Trails in the sky on steam before playing this because those games are the first in the series however you can still play the cold steel games if you really want to and go back to sky
    • and you do pretty similar things however in Trails of Cold Steel
    • At its core, Trails of Cold Steel is about the relationship between the protagonist Rean Schwarzer and his fellow students of Class VII at Thors Military Academy, and how they fit in with the political conflict going on in the land of Erebonia
    • The plot/character integration though, that's where Cold Steel really shines: the overarching narrative of class conflict within a country on the verge of civil war is mirrored quite nicely by Class VII's unprecedented mixture of nobles and commoners
    • Cold Steel is set within Erebonia, which has a rigid nobility structure
    • Trails in Cold Steel is a action/turn based rpg similar I would say to Persona in a very few ways.- Highschool bonding points (2-3) are given on free days to the main character to strengthen the "link" system for the battle system.- Basically bonding points give u strength in the battle system but unlike Persona it isn't what the whole game is about
    • Trails of Cold Steel (ToCS for short) remembers this, and sticks to its guns; it might not be extremely flashy, but the slower pace and more realistic tone is appreciated nonetheless
    • While not the fastest-paced game, Cold Steel paces itself very well, having enough downtime between major events and battles for the player to not feel burnt out, as well as sprinkling story events and characters evenly across the board, instead of bunching up a lot of stuff all at once, then nothing for hours on end
    • While the story does end abruptly, it will leave you wanting more!Great characters, writing, gameplay, and an AMAZING soundtrack, Trails of Cold Steel is a superb RPG that will keep you immersed and hooked from beginning to end.
    • Trails of Cold Steel" is the first installment of a two-part game (the 2nd part will be released in September 2016).
    • NOTE: reviewing the PS Vita version of Trails of Cold SteelThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is one of the best JRPGs I've played in some time, and that's largely thanks to Falcom's treatment of the game
    • Completely different from the Legend of heroes trails in the sky sequels, and trails of cold steel
    • Cold Steel uses an Orbal system, but it has some changes
    • Hope Trail of cold steel II have skip option for the scenes
    • So, let me say, that after 30 odd years of RPGing, THE LEGEND OF HEROES: TRAILS OF COLD STEEL, is the greatest RPG ever I have ever played.
    • ofThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel*I have been given approval from Amazon for links to my Channel and are within the guidelines*Please Leave Thought Comments Down Below
    • sadly I think Cold Steel 3 will be on the PS4 which as of now I don't think I'll get a chance to play.
    • While not the fastest-paced game, Cold Steel paces itself very well, having enough downtime between major events and battles for the player to not feel burnt out, as well as sprinkling story events and characters evenly across the board, instead of bunching up a lot of stuff all at once, then nothing for hours on end
    • If you've played Trails in the Sky, then Cold Steel will feel very familiar while still being very much separate from your time in Liberl
    • Trails of Cold Steel is set in a different part of the world as Legend of Heroes
    • With new expectations for design and combat feel, older games like Cold Steel lose their charm and end up being a chore.
    • Trails of Cold Steel 1 however is a little more streamlined with the school aspect
    • If you liked Trails in the Sky, then you really can't go wrong with Trails of Cold Steel
    • Bought into the LoH hype after finishing the first game on PC.Honestly Trails of Cold Steel is an ok game with majorly boring combat
    • In a market where developers constantly make concessions to publishers for the sake of sales that lead to watered-down, unsatisfactory experiences, Trails of Cold Steel feels like a work of passion that Falcom put a lot of love and effort into to make the game as best as they could
    • Trails in the Sky's Orbal system assigned a point value to each Orbal you attached to allow for certain spells to be unlocked once you reach a given value; Cold Steel removed those values
    • Trails of Cold Steel is a great game all around
    • While the previous games were done in a sort of overhead view, Trails of Cold Steel is the first fully 3-D game in the franchise
    • It is quite easy to open up and it has a space with an empty box so you can put your "Trails of Cold Steel II" when it comes out this September 6th
    • Trails of Cold Steel introduces some interesting changes to the core mechanics, such as the way your Orbment is handled
    • I bought The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel pretty much on a whim
    • Focusing on a new cast of characters and another part of the Trails universe, Cold Steel is what PS3 (or PSV) should have long long time ago
    • Trails of Cold steel is a JRPG in every sense
    • Excellent Game, I usually hate series that span over several titles but this one is a solid game, so is cold steel 2
    • Cold Steel takes place in the same continent as Liberl, but within a different country
    • Relationships also carry over to Cold Steel II of course, along with some special items depending on your level and a certain rank you get from achieving points through side quests and certain game decisions
    • I was considering in selling my Playstation Vita since I had so few games for it, but then I discovered Trails of Cold Steel
    • Unlike most games in this genre, is wasn`t frustrating at all
