The game freezes every time am almost killed Gannon and it doesn't do that with my other two n64 games

That last dungeon on Death Mountain was a killer, a true challenge that you had to match your mettle with to get past it, save Princess Zelda and beat that nasty ol' Gannon.

They're still gorgeous (albeit a tad blurry--don't blame the game, blame the Nintendo64!), even next to newer games on newer systems such as the PlayStation2

Works as it should.

The game follows the story of a young boy named Link who sets out to save the land from an evil foreign warlord named Ganondorf as well as to rescue Princess Zelda.
