The Original Hill Dark Rosin For Violin - Viola - Cello

    • Bowing is far more responsive without sounding harsh.
    • Even though it's more expensive than her last rosin (can't remember what it was, but is was a light brown and a 3rd of the cost), I definitely notice a richer, smoother sound with this one
    • I wanted as good quality as possible to help with getting as good sound and mechanics from the instrument as possible.
    • This dark rosin works well in the colder months, goes on easy, and may improve the sound.
    • The rosin stays on the hair for quite a long time, and treated bow produces very clean sound, without any harshness or hisses
    • The rosin enables the hairs to grip the strings without being sticky, and gives a beautiful clean sound
    • Nice sound
    • I bought an exotic mix of Original 2 rosins: Dark Hill and Sons plus Kolstein bass rosin (suggested by my fave online teacher Joy Lee on youtube) and that really improved the sound.
    • Controlling the bow is much easier and the sound that resonates is so much clearer and warmer.
    • What a beautiful sound this made.
    • The sound is crystal clear and beautiful
    • Easy to start using when new, doesn't make a mess on your instrument, provides plenty of grip that produces a strong yet smooth sound (Cello)
