    The Sims 3 - PC

    • Make sure your computer is powerful enough to meet the standards of the game, if you want experience Sims 3 at it's fulliest
    • (I do have a much better computer now).
    • My computer more than exceeds the minimum requirements with all updates and driver updates.
    • It has also froze my computer and caused other problems.
    • i have vista and a great graphics card... it runs horribly slows down my computer and takes forever to load
    • My computer far exceeds the recommended specifications for this game.
    • Unfortunately, my computer does not have a whole lot of GBs, and so once it was installed, my computer was extra slow.
    • They were right when they said it would run well on crappy computers
    • It'd just be a waste of graphics, and would slow down your underpowered computer anyway
    • The Sims games require good computers with up to date operating systems, etc., and I had to spend a lot of money on my old PC to make it capable of running the
    • I'm not running a fantastic computer, but it is a new computer
    • The Sims 3, and the new World Adventures expansion pack have both been released with so many bugs and errors that even the best computer out there can't play them
    • It may save your pocket until your computer is ready for it.
    • My computer works fine with the game so there's no complaint there.
    • If you have an external drive or a very good computer, you will most likely be able to play it
    • The computer can randomize characters for you if you like..that's good
    • At first, my computer was not compatible with this game, which was no one's fault but mine
    • This is possibly the best computer game ever
    • But beware in recent updates in the game which you connect to the internet for it can crash your computer
    • For example, I game my sim the traits Angler, Computer Whiz, Handy, Loves the outdoors traits.
    • I loved this game until it crashed my computer
    • The game freezes, crashed your computer not to mention that can damage your system
    • Ok.. All of this you can play without problems if you have a good video card, memory, proccesor to play; because this game is much, much bigger than the sims 2, so you can imagine, if you have 4 members of your family in different places, the camara switch from one place to another if you want to see whats is going with the other sim, and without a good computer it will take time, and I hate that!
    • Then you feel like throwing your computer out the window!!
    • That's what I'd expect from a free game, not from a 50 euro something one that was bought in a store- the new version of make-a-sim and the neighbourhood worked confusing for me; I was making a sim, then wanted to add a second one to the family, but instead, the family got loaded into the neighbourhood (my sister said I was just being dump, but since I've played both the sims 1 and 2 for a long time, things like this shouldn't be difficult)- things in general don't look much better than in sims 2, yet the video requirements are such that we have to play it on my dad's computer, because both mine and my sister's computer aren't good enough (both are able to play the sims 2)- for whatever reason, the toddlers seem much less cute than in the sims 2 (they look a bit creepy in the sims 3)Good
    • sims are more detailed, but they now seem out of place as the objects and houses themselves are not dramatically different looking.coupled with the massive cpu drain that is the game even on good computers *after promising the game would run well on older computers*, the sims 3 has its faults, but shines in other areas
    • Tech stuff::This game is loaded with bugs, I have an alien ware computer well over 3k and my computer still crashed
    • This will lag out the game on even the best gaming computers, and yes, eventually corrupt the save files
    • I have a very fast computer and have never ever had issues before
    • I know that it is not my computer's fault but it will not let me install the game
    • It does freeze at times, but that is due to my computer, so if you have an amazing computer, you are set for this game!
    • I suspect this will be because EA is coming out with ep's?The graphics:I have a new computer with a decent enough graphics card, NVIDIA
    • I have significantly better computer parts than suggested, yet it has crashed twice taking me back a solid day of play
    • mean that the sims 3 is bad it may be because your computer is slow
    • Over all awesome game if u have a good computer
    • Our grandkids are young and have an older computer- wasn't worth it
    • If you buy this game, I suggest not uninstalling your other games and make sure you have an amazing computer driver and processor.
    • My computer is perfectly fine, I have a very good laptop, so there's no reason that the game shouldn't be working on my computer
    • However, it does require a good computer to run the game smoothly with all the settings on max
    • It installed fine, and I did not expect any problems with it as my gaming system has specifications that are way above the recommended specs, and I keep my computers tidy and clean
    • I never had trouble running even the largest lots (max lot size, big house with tons of items, 8 sims, several EP's installed) in the Sims 2, and since my computer is fairly new and exceeded the system requirements for Sims 3 I didn't expect any trouble
    • My computer exceeds the system requirements
    • It will run ok with most modern integrated graphics on lower settings, but even with decent computers with a high end graphics card and processor frames will stutter and even lock up for a second as you move across the map
    • Rod Humble, you can keep your computer - the installed game isn't worth it.
    • Maybe people's computers aren't strong enough, or maybe their expectations were too high, but I can't imagine wanting to go to back to playing The Sims 2
    • I love this game alot, this game is fun, but it was this game that crashed my computer or it was the the expansion packs for the sims 2
    • but it has to be everyones computers causing these issues
    • Let me start by saying that my computer is not the problem
    • i wish my computer was faster and better so i can enjoy this game to the fullest, playing it on a laptop sucks
    • The redesigned graphics are beautiful and best of all do not slow down gameplay because they're designed to run on even the slowest computers
    • My computer freezes at times
    • My computer is up to date on average and I didn't bother with the collectors edition
    • My computer exceeds ALL the system requirements for this game.
    • I mean, my computer isn't dragged down by the graphics (i have a gaming computer thanks to my addict husband) and that's good
    • My computer isn't that great, in fact I was told it wouldn't work on myolder, non-Vista system, but it loaded fine and we get less lag than we used to get with Sims 2
    • However, because it requires a powerful computer, I would have to rate this game lower.
    • If you're a Sims fan, give it a go!I bought this game for my PC and although there seems to be a technical glitch in that it occasionally freezes (my computer is above required spec
    • I have a Mac and I downloaded the game from the CD onto my laptop and apparently, even though I have the specifications and deleted files, I still didn't have a fast enough computer
    • Luckily, my brother has a wonderful new gaming computer and the game runs beautifully on it
    • So I restarted my computer, went back in, and it works perfectly
    • Sims is a great idea, but when it comes to custom content (furniture you customize) the game becomes extremely laggy, and has my computer has had performance issues
    • Also, you need a a good computer to play this game
    • My computer is a year old (a Windows Vista with a Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor), not expensive in the least bit and doesn't even meet the system requirements for GHz (I have 1.9 GHz and the game recommends 2.4) but it runs very smoothly
    • Granted, my computer isn't exactly the newest, so I won't fault EA for this problem
    • and my computer froze
    • The only real problems has been my computer or some small thing EA did causing it to act weird of just
    • Guess what, that means your cpu/gpu has to been processing information for that neighborhood at all times, that requires a stronger computer.
    • These issues were reported to EA customer service who told me that I needed a better computer (
    • On my super-fast computer, once I load Sims 3 and select which game file to play it takes 5 minutes to load
    • I learned that the hard way after I downloaded Origin before Sims got shipped to my house, and it seriously wrecked my computer
    • o flaw it is perfect
    • u look like a striper )
