It's also very mouse throwingly frustrating when the game crashes for no reason at all during normal game play; only to lose 4 hours of progress

For me, this game is a fun way to waste a few hours of my day

Who wants to spend 50 bucks on a video game that is slow and not much fun at all?After the many many enjoyable hours I spent on the Sims1 and 2, I did not hesitate to buy this game without waiting for the reviews.

It took almost 2 hours to download and it did freeze the first time I tried playing it, but after I downloaded and installed the updates it's been working flawless

And if you want facial hair on your guy, you have two options... 72 hour shadow/bum, or 12-year-old smooth

Like many of the other reviewers here, I have been a HUGE fan of The Sims franchises, losing many pleasant hours to The Sims 1 and its wonderful sequel The Sims 2

I love the building feature; I can spend hours just designing a house.

Sims 3 has completely crashed on me 5 times, each time erasing several hours of progress

and admittedly, the first couple hours of gameplay were really very neat

You DEFINITELY have to save often, as you never know when the game is going to glitch, and you're forced to quit and lose hours of progress

Origin is terribly slow and by the time my game had installed, downloaded and updated , a terrible ten hours had passed

EA has included a new patch, though the download time now takes about 3 hours rather than 2, and the game works perfectly on my Mac

I loved Sims 2 and probably wasted too many hours of my life on it.

I turned the graphics all the way down and spent five hours cleaning up my hard drive, but the game was unplayably slow even with a small, one sim household

I think I've spent enough hours and effort on it that I want to express the like-hate relationship i have with this game
