I love the different personality traits!

I build myself first and there is no better way to create a specific person than with all of the available traits

The seamless neighborhood, traits, moodlets, in-job options, and some of the graphic effects are quite good.

I love the new traits, moodlets, and wishes, which make SO much more sense than aspirations from TS2

The personality traits are awesome, you get to feel like gary and wyatt in weird science and create a living, breathing creation, instead of something that needs you to hold its hand to do everything

Using a modified system of general personality traits seemed like a good idea when I read about it on the website

I like giving them different trait,I also like the fact fishing and few other of my fave sims 2 activities were included on here as well as finally a picnic table

Some are awesome like the athletic trait but some are lame like the evil trait

Even supposed improvements like the personality traits only add a superficial level of difference among Sims - they have lost all of the charm and individuality that made Sims so quirky and likeable.

Instead of giving points between extremes like "messy" and "neat", you now get several slots to permanently choose from 50 or 60 "traits" such as messy, evil, dislikes children, couch potato, etc

My favorite part of the Create A Sim process is the Personality/Simology section, where you can pick numerous traits for your Sim, such as Insane, Hopeless Romantic, Hates Children, Neurotic, and Evil

For instance a Sim with the Evil trait will do very well in the Criminal career track while a Sim with the Genius trait will do best in the Medical career track

Seeing the results of the personality traits you selected is great

This is because it's frustrating to come back to a family and find that they have gotten way older, adopted really crappy traits while you were gone, or even had a baby(!).

The graphics are not as crisp as in Sims 2.

My wife loves this game, but she doesn't feel it's much better than the sims2 because there are some things missing such as not being able to create a restaurant

But I tried the Sims3 on my outdated Computer and the game booted up slow but wants I was in the game it seem to run OK good enough to play, and the bulding part of the game was not really that bad and the graphic detail were OK but not as good as in the

Camera movement is not as smooth as in TS2

I recommend reading as many reviews (both positive and negative) as you can and deciding for yourself

I get that this is to make it friendly to the casual crowd, but the UI is not as good as in 2.-As cool as the always-running neighborhood is, it does open the possibility of something undesirable happening to one of your families while you are playing another

The last con is that sometimes the sims will not follow the action as fast as you would like them to like sometimes when you make your sim take a shower, he might stand there for about 30 game seconds before showering

I loved the Sims, as well as the Sims 2 and spent countless hours playing the game
