    The Sims 4 - PC/Mac

    • I do like the color options they have provided better than most of these other reviewers, but it's lacking some "oomph".I LOVED Create-A-Sim, despite not having skin/hair/eye color sliders
    • The lack of open world and family tree is not an issue for me
    • It helps make up for the lack of traits (still mad about that though, I'll be honest) and I think it could be fun as you get further on
    • True there may be a lack of features but the game distracts you from them
    • I also do feel that the worlds should have more lots than they do and the lack of a family tree is silly as well
    • As you would have noticed with many of the reviewers on this site they were mainly dissapointed with the content or lack thereof
    • For me, the lack of an open world was a blessing.
    • I'll try and give a quick list of the issues:No PoolsNo CarsNo Open World (you jump from lot to lot)Tiny Worlds (Apparently they saw nothing wrong with the tiny SimCIty maps)Severe lack of places to go
    • Everything is limited by confusing controls and lack of options, especially for doors, windows, wallpaper, and flooring
    • Lack of an open world is a huge disappointment
    • Game play is lack luster compared to Sims 3
    • The dynamics of the background are lacking
    • The lack of CASt is a bit of a disappointment especially for the clothes that don't quite have the design or colors you want, but for those who didn't use it much, it probably wouldn't be missed
    • Lack of activities and muddled life stages are also quite irritating
    • The lack of a family tree bugs me too, as I like to keep track of them when doing a legacy challenge
    • The lack of an open world is also very, VERY disappointing
    • I don't like (lack of family trees, some missing careers, and teens looking to similar to young
    • Similar to Sims 2, when one member of the family goes to community lot, the other sims in the household are left to their own devices for the time your sim is away, I miss the lack of control over the whole household
    • At first I hated the lack of sliders, but i've gotten used to it
    • I also do feel that the worlds should have more lots than they do and the lack of a family tree is silly as well
    • The Bad:- Lack of terrain tools
    • More disappointing than the lack of CASt was the lack of a color wheel, which leaves you about 10-15 options for hair, eye, and skin color
    • The lack of pools and toddlers is irritating, but maybe tolerable as long as they got patched back in
    • It's the gameplay and the restrictions therein and the lack of soul and personality, and
    • Heck, it's not even a reskin, because it's lacking a lot of the stuff the previously games had
    • I will agree that it's lacking in a few areas, like no pools, but the additions more than make up for what is lacking
    • Lack of content, small neighborhoods, and lack of items are its faults but accepting it for what it is which is a video game, it is a good one
    • While it has its flaws such as the lack of an open world that the Sims 3 has pioneered and the lack of immersion when leaving to go to a new location
    • The lack of pools and toddlers is irritating, but maybe tolerable as long as they got patched back in
    • I particularly dislike the lack of the "open town
    • It reminds me most of the mobile/tablet game The Sims FreePlay in how the Sims act, walk, do whims, and even look, as well as in how the gameplay is very short-focus-oriented
    • I love it even though it lags a
    • , I never clean my bathroom sink as much as they do)
    • There are a few glitches that I've seen, but nothing detrimental as of yet
    • They even say "a well-cared for sim is a happy sim" when the needs are high, as if they cannot do anything on their own without the player and are "pets", which in Sims 3, the Sims could go about their lives without any players (with Story Progression, e.g. and personalities), choosing jobs and such, but obviously often wouldn't get promotions or be as successful as with a player
    • Where is the fun in that?Moving around in Sims 4 is not as clean as it is in Sims 3
    • When compared to Sims 2 and 3, you are really limited as to what you can do, such as multi tasking between sims.. for example
    • but this is not limited as you can simply cancel out the filter and you can have Sims wear anything from other categories for clothing
    • Just not as good as I had hoped for
    • I purchased the Sims 4 when it was on sale for around 30 bucks, so i guess it doesn't hurt as much as if i paid a full price
