A lot of the functionality was lost, though they did improve the menus and a few life issues (like adding the option to breast or bottle-feed your sim baby)

I love the new build mode options and I think I may love building houses just as much as playing the game

It also feels like there are less options for interactions between the Sims, and the options change every time you click on the menu

There aren't enough options here to even consider this a BASE GAME

I loved all the options of interactions but felt at times there were almost to many options

As long as you're not interested in changing hair or clothing colors, and don't mind that the options are extremely limited for both of those, the actual bodies and faces of Sims have never looked better

I will not be buying any expansion packs and since I've thoroughly explored all available options in this game I most like will not play it until I get nostalgic for The Sims

There aren't really enough customization options for clothes, household goods, etc

In an effort to focus more on the sims acting more like real people they neglected options and variety.

They love the new hair styles and outfits, and all the options on making a Sim, but there's a lot wrong with this game still, and until new expansions come out, this game is pretty basic

A lot of times you can't get the interaction to come up until you've worked your way up to it, and long before the option is available, the sims have wandered off for that all-important multitasking

ALL the sims, therefore, will nearly have the same social reactions based on their bland 5-emotion options with little variety, because their is less emphasis on traits

Great building options in this version and the graphics are on point

This new edition does not have the range of options available in the Sims 3 with its expansion packs, but there was enough in the base game to enjoy

But Sims 4 is smooth and fast.-I love all the different options you have for conversing and interacting, but I'm sure they won't seem so awesome once I get used to them.-Updated interface

I do wish there were more items and options available for those items, but I'm sure there will be more introduced in the near future.

In addition, the available career options are weird, and sending Sims to work is boring

"Care for itself" is the worst gaming option in the history of Sims

I don't even miss the custom content options since they give you enough different options as it is.

Create-a-Sim and Build Mode could have been really good if there weren't so few options available

This would have been closer to an expansion, especially comparing it to the content and options available in Sims 3 base game

I even love the new option for toddlers to learn on their own and throw tantrums

The development team [i]is[/i] working with the player community to fine-tune the story progression options, though, so maybe in a future expansion or patch you'll be able to truly tweak said options to your preferred definition of perfection

Added options are not very appealing to me, such as planter boxes beneath windows and clover-shaped windows

I purchased this game from a third party seller because the option to by through EA wasn't available

While they're in labour they can still walk around and do stuff which is good too... but so far those are about the only positives I've found as I think the graphics are bollocks too, the grass now looks like it's a messy watercolour painting that's run into itself
