It is nice looking and has quality paper with lined pages, as well as bookmarks, a pocket, and a pen holder

The pages lay flat which makes writing on either side comfortable and clean looking

I like this notebook because it has a strong spine so the pages are bound very well, the covers are thick but slightly flexible

Anyone who likes to write can appreciate the awkwardness of writing in a bound journal whose spine is too stiff

However, and this is BIG however, the spine completely fell apart after only a couple of uses.

I'm sure if you refrain from ripping out pages, the spine will be great, as well as the notebook

My only issue is the spine, which I believe I damaged when i ripped two pages out

This notebook is a bit more expensive than others, but appears the quality is worth it.
