Great Strings just love the sound on the viola

Overall, they have a good, strong sound and they're very sturdy, reliable strings.

My G and C strings were making an odd rattling sound (also dominants but the set was nearly a year old)

They have an average response speed, feel good under the hand (shifting and action are smooth), and get a fairly strong sound that is never too bright
