It's too dark in the G string, and without any acoustic resonance in that string, actually my violin was abundant with the resonance in the G previously.
-
I also tried the Infeld Reds on a cheap electric violin and the sound was noticeably much better with them on that violin as well.
-
These strings were recommended by my luthier to darked up a very bright violin and it worked.
-
Even after only ten minutes on the violin, they sound like... if a violin could actually sound like velvet
-
I'm gonna try other ones since they do sound kind of mellow on my violin, but i could say this strings would be excellent on more brilliant sounding violins
-
Still a cheap violin but easier on the ears now when I practice, which makes me practice much more often
-
Now my violin sounds like a very old violin

My violin is extremely "bright" - at times is not very forgiving of my "mistakes", actually often enhances my mistakes.
