For that particular simulator, the controls are incredible and almost completely eliminate all need for a keyboard.
-
This system is for a gamer that wants the best in control, accuracy and build quality.
-
This product DOES NOT work with all motherboards and chips due to Thrustmaster's HORRIBLE quality control
-
The joystick provides very precise control of the aircraft while in flight
-
Thrustmaster's software is the most powerful control software to ever be written
-
I actually bought the pedals while I still had the x52 because I really hated the twist rudder control.
-
very stable robust controls.
-
The cost, however, of these two items, around $400 is excessive, and being how unique this device is to the A-10, most sim flyers will revert to a less expensive control alternative.
-
Precise controls on throttle and stick
-
-Throttles are sloppy in response - some wiggle room before the axis actually responds and the friction engages, making the friction control pretty pointless since it's impossible to make reasonable adjustments with it enabled.-Mic switch up response is a bit erratic, and push feels really loose.-Slew hat is slow and jittery, with a noticeable lag and an update rate around 4Hz, which is very problematic when trying to do any precise control
-
These controls are absolutely superb!
-
The Slew Control is overly sensitive and not gradual enough.
-
but you get what you pay for....easily configurable controls...happy with purchase, will never have to purchase another stick and throttle in my lifetime.
-
If you enjoy precision and accurate control of military jet aircraft in computer simulation, then you should seriously consider the TM A-10 Warthog HOTAS
-
With it's metal construction and overall build quality, this control will keep me happy in DCS A-10c and other sims for years to come.
-
The controls are silky smooth and very precise - a significant improvement over the Cougar and everything else I've ever used
-
This is an amazing control setup.
-
The control just wasn't precise enough for certain games
-
For the TLDR crowd, here's the skinny:If you are into serious flight combat sims or need ridiculously accurate manual controls, this is what you need
-
It can be pretty simple when using the GUI version, or very complex when using the script version which offer C like operands and even stuff like bit shifting.
