The T.A.R.G.E.T. software that comes with it is pretty comprehensive, containing, not only the user-configuration tools promised by Thrustmaster, but the manuals and other information you need to figure out how to use the complex and powerful flight tool.

anyone tell me what software is best with this.

Product feels strong quality unlike cheap flight stick that feels like a toy, plug and play, and free software download for extra setting and macro too.

I guess the upshot is that, once you figure out how to work the software, you can set it up once for each game and then mostly forget about it

And great software to go with it

That's a ripoff IMO.The TARGET programming software is BRILLIANT.

Thrustmaster's software is the most powerful control software to ever be written

As I improved my proficiency in Elite Dangerous and DCS World, it became quite clear that I needed a control system with better HOTAS options, greater precision, and better customization software.

The only thing that holding those buttons did was make it recognizable by the device manager but it still doesn't respond to any games or software like

gaming devices are nothing without proper drivers and software and currently the software for the Thrustmaster Warthog is woefully out of date and buggy.

The software is a bit complex if your planning on using these for anything else other than DCS, as you will not just be jumping in. and taking off right out of the box.

software is a pain in the ass to use though if you are playing a game that doesnt recognize the stick

For such an amazing piece of hardware the software really sucks

I love the warthog and can make it just as sensitive as the most sensitive settings on the X65, the software is that much better without the axis bleed in the X65 which results because the stick has zero free play where the real F-16 stick has 1/8" which if the X65 had would greatly reduce the axis bleed.

Solid, heavy construction, extremely precise response, more buttons than you will ever remember what you bound them to, and even great software.

The accompanying software, while a bit clunky, works just fine

especially elite dangerous has its own setup with the hot as and no need to extra configuration.

I'd recommend the Saitek X-55 as it does have the Z direction twist feature

But the worse is after they deceived me for around 2 weeks of pointless e-mails and asked me to send a video proving there was a problem, they still refused haven`t even sent me the measle $5 spare button for me to replace
