I took it for a brief test flight using FlightGear which, as of version 2.4, supports the T-Flight HOTAS "out of the box".While the stick can be programmed, I haven't actually used that feature because the controls are just right as they are, although the option is there if you want it.

This is definitely the perfect entry level HOTAS for your games by far.

In space sims, you don't need to worry about your ship stalling or going into a spin because you were too erratic with the controls, but in a ww1 or ww2 game, planes can stall out very easily so you will find yourself becoming very frustrated using this HOTAS

The throttle is smooth and solid with plenty of buttons to use which are located perfectly for index finger and thumb control, it also has a center zone that clicks in at zero throttle which I love as it keeps me from sliding into reverse in the heat of things

I use the controller with the FS as-well-as with ATS games and for me, it's simply works great and at what I feel at a very fair price.
