For it being the cheap model it performs just as good as the more expensive ones

Lacks a few features of the more expensive models, but has more than enough conveniently placed buttons to provide full control of all the essential flight elements, and a few to spare

My previous was a Logitech 3D Pro, and I've had an M$ Force Feedback (as well as early models from the archaic days)

Just keep in mind this is ONLY a Right handed model Left hand joysticking will feel very odd almost unplayable as it only conforms 1

So, overall I love hotas models, just not this one.

If you have a larger budget and do a lot of gaming I would recommend considering a more expensive model.

An inferior model or refurb

There are plenty of programmable buttons on both the joystick and throttle control for the intermediate gamer, but If you want a "real" flight experience, you might want to consider a slightly more expensive/heavy duty model

Unless you'd rather drop $100 on a fancier model, Thrustmaster's console-friendly offering will serve you very well.

I was a first a little skeptical, as there are many models out there that are significantly more expensive

I chose this over the more expensive Saitek models, as it works great for me for very little money

The more expensive blue PS4 model is said to be a 3-6% deadzone and the T16000 HOTAS is what you really want if you're serious

I'm sure the technology has advanced across the board so this may even be "cheap" by comparrison to the more expensive models, but it sure beats what I used to have to use

My first intention was so save up for the Saitek X55 (ooooo shiny =D), but I did read and find out later that I would be paying $200 for a 50/50 chance the the X55 would come in DOA (dead on arrival)
