Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick

    • For the money this is a very Solid and Hardy stick
    • Unlike some other sticks, the stick itself supports the pitch, roll, and yaw
    • I was a little hesitant to get this stick because of the very infamous dead-zone associated with it, however I actually really love this stick
    • * I don't keep the throttle/stick connected, and the cord between the 2 parts is about an inch too short to easily run behind my keyboard
    • This is a well made heavy Stick.
    • It's a good flight stick, but not a great flight stick
    • There is some slight play in the stick responsiveness, and the trigger could be a bit better, but overall solid stick.
    • Great stick if your looking to get into the hobby, works with all the games I've tried, Star Citizen, DCS, War Thunder
    • What I also liked about it was the fact that it includes a throttle with rudder controls, giving you access to the same abilities you would have access to even if you bought one of the best top dollar flight stick sets on the market
    • Stick is great, throttle has no resistance so you don't have any feedback for it
    • Best Hostas stick you will find for the money!
    • All in all it is a great flight stick without breaking your bank
    • It is a very good stick for the money, and the rudder controls (on stick or throttle) make it much easier to control your fixed wing.
    • This stick feels very realistic in my opinion.
    • As well, stick/throttle stability when separated leaves a little to be desired
    • If you like space sims, or fixed wing flight sims, this is a really cool stick
    • This stick is awsome, I am very glad that I gave it a chance even though reviews were scarce
    • Great stick
    • The stick has adjustable tension, so for my hamfisted self, I can keep it very tight
    • This is a great starter flight stick
    • Left hand throttle and right stick
    • This stick feels more like a toy.
    • All in all the T-Flight is one of the best flight sticks around it is also able to work on most other programs that use joysticks
    • Stick is very comfortable to play with
    • It works just like it did from day one, however the stick has been a little squeaky, but it doesn't affect the performance of the stick
    • Just wanted a great flight stick for my pc for mechwarrior 4:mercenaries (and mechwarrior 5 when it comes out next year.).
    • After doing this the stick feels perfectly centered and smooth as butter.
    • Could be a really good stick if it vibrates.
    • It is very simple if you have the stick and throttle placed in the right way, takes time to figure out if you forgot
    • Amazing flight stick for
    • I purchased this top replace my original Top Gun flight stick from Thrustmaster
    • It doesn't have as many buttons or switches as the more expensive HOTAS sticks, but for less than half the price of the next contender, it's a pretty damn good deal
    • Fantastic Joy stick
    • The stick is a little too thin and cramps up my hand after 15 to 30 minutes
    • I needed a flight stick that was well-built, easy to use and easy to program
    • Any serious PC Gamer should have a good flight stick and this gets the job done.
    • The stick feels really nice although not as solid as it could be
    • Second, although the stick has adjustable resistance, I don't particularly like the curve: it's got very little resistance around neutral, and much higher resistance at the extremes
    • You will love this flight stick
    • This is a very good stick for the $
    • I don't think it is a 5 star worthy flight stick but for the price you won't find a better option.
    • The stick and throttle move fluidly and are very accurate, and the stick twists to the left or right as well, which I've found very useful for controlling the rudder or nosewheel on the ground
    • Great stick - period
    • I am very happy with this and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good flight stick.
    • The stick worked straight out of the box programed for FSX flight simulator
    • I temporarily fixed these problems with the built-in "reprogrammming" feature (it actually came in useful!) until the problem cleared up and the buttons and axis returned to normal after a few computer reboots.==Pros==*Smooth, sturdy flight stick with adjustable resistance*12 usable buttons + 8 way hat (there are three additional buttons that only control joystick functionality and aren't usable in games AFAIK)*5-axis (including separate rudder rocker in throttle and twistable flight stick)*Feels solidly built*Throttle detaches from stick and can be placed a short distance
    • You can get much better flight sticks but not at this price point.
    • Wish the cord connecting the throttle and stick was longer but no other complaints
    • Good stick combo at right price.
    • Overall it works although there are still a few things that just won't configure properly to be played with XPlane 10.I wouldn't recommend this stick unless you were being very conscious of not spending too much money on a Flight Stick
    • It's a cheap HOTS, if you want to try flight sims this is a decent beginner stick
    • This stick is great for the amateur that needs a more comfortable grip and lots of controls
    • The stick works, to a point
    • I like this stick and throttle, especially for the price.
    • Price is cheap but the joystick is worth way more than that!A great flight stick but still it could use some upgrade
    • This is a perfect stick to use.
    • I really hate when sticks already come a little loose as they just worsen over time
    • Great HOTAS flight stick for Elite: Dangerous.
    • These are the perfect sticks to see if it's something you would like
    • more expensive sticks might be better but this one absolutely packs a punch at the price point
    • The throttle is fine enough (a bit jerky at first, though) but the stick itself it terrible
    • My one gripe is that the stick itself fells a little rigid
    • Great buy for the money and an excellent entry flight stick and thruster combo
    • The stick would greatly benefit from a rubberized grip.
    • After a little practice, he now prefers the Stick to the PS3 controller
    • Between the X 52 and this flight stick I would give the advantage to the X 52, but the thrust master is easier to transport and the stick is more comfortable than the X 52
    • great stick well built
    • Nice HOTAS stick
    • For the price its decent but if u can i would suggest spending a little extra on a better stick.
    • This is a great stick for beginners
    • The stick works great
    • The flight stick and throttle can separate, allowing you to use the stick just like a real aircraft
    • This is much better than trying to twist the stick for rudder which I've always found a bit awkward.
    • Good stick
    • Nice stick
    • Otherwise, it's a good stick for X-Plane, but I'm already buying and upgrade less than a week after purchase.
    • Some notes from me:-Don't look for an allen key to secure the throttle to the yoke; it comes with one on the bottom of the controller that I didn't notice at first.-More comfortable to keep the throttle secured to the stick, but it does detach with good range.-The stick's tension can be adjusted with the knob on the bottom
    • Overall I am happy with the purchase, it is a great stick for those of us on a budget that still want a measure of quality
    • Awesome cheap alternative for more expensive flight sticks and throttles!
    • A quick side note, under intense gameplay the stick and throttle will creak.
    • Fantastic beginner flight stick , although it has a dead spot in the center of the graduated throttle the ease of programming and precision of all other controls coupled with a great price makes this controller a winner right out of the box.
    • Decent flight stick for the cash
    • Would recommend for a nice cheap HOTAS stick
    • Other than that, what you see is what you get, a good stick.
    • That said, the stick can be set to twist the stick for rudder input if that is your chosen way of flying
    • This is a good joy stick
    • Love this stick
    • The stick itself twists which is great for a use as pedals
    • At this point I can recommend this stick highly
    • Durable joy stick that has a good feeling too it
    • Very good stick, well built, weighty, and the ability to separate the components is terrific
    • My husband and son play alot of flying games on the computer and this is a very good flight stick.
    • I'm still figure out on how to change the sensitivity, but other than that, its a good flight stick
    • DR - I do not like this stick
    • , the throttle feels great and the stick itself has great adjustable resistance
    • You really are not going to find a better overall stick for the around $50 price of these
    • I've been using thrustmaster flight sticks since practically the start of the company and this is a really solid stick for the price
    • A very good stick for the price
    • Pros-detachable base can put the stick and throttle on separate sides of many keyboards.
    • , the stick feels great and with the rudder and throttle control, its just perfect
    • Highly recommend this stick, especially for the relative cost.
    • I will say that the stick felt rather responsive and of good quality, but I was unable to hook it up due to the issues listed above, so I can only give it 3 stars.
    • Excellent inexpensive stick and throttle for Elite Dangerous
    • The stick seemed stiff at first for the x/y axis
    • True to good quality sticks like Thrustmaster, there are many buttons and they are programmable
    • This is all I wanter a stick and throtlle that split apart
    • I will recommend this stick to those who want to only pay so much for it
    • store! The stick and throttle, works as a one-piece unit or you can take the throttle apart from the stick and use it as a separate unit
    • I absolutely love this stick for the money and consistently recommend it to friends who want a competent flight controller without spending big bucks
    • I absolutely love this stick for the money and consistently recommend it to friends who want a competent flight controller without spending big bucks
    • Stick is very accurate, with good weight and well built
    • Love this stick.
    • I do wish there were more hats, but I could have gotten that by getting a more expensive stick
    • This stick likes to make your airplanes take of in circles no matter what you do.
    • Overall, this is a very good stick, and is great for PS3 users or people looking for an entry level stick for their PC
    • One of the best sticks around especially for beginner HOTAS users.
    • The stick works on PS3!!
    • This Stick(& Throttle) is probably best for "Games" rather the "Simulators", but is definitely serviceable for Beginner Simulator users who wont be able to tell the difference between a this and a better stick
    • First was the price, at around $50 it is easily one of the most accessible fight sticks on the market
    • The stick twist and throttle rocker axis is separate so you can assign rudder control to whichever one suits your taste.
    • The rotating stick is very awkward, but you can use a screwdriver to set in in place and just use the rudder rocker on the throttle to control the rudder.
    • All in all, good stick for PS3
    • Only downsides are that while the two units (the throttle and the stick) are detachable, they are still tethered together by a non detachable cable, limiting where you can place these controls.
    • Excellent flight stick for the price.
    • The throttle detent is a little obnoxious, but the stick feels wonderful and is adjustable
    • The Saitek FLY has a better feeling and functioning stick...but you have to buy a new one every year or 2.
    • Great sticks, got them for Elite Dangerous and DCS world
    • Best flight stick there is for the experienced virtual airline pilot.
    • I was going to drop 150 on a better stick
    • Not a bad stick...
    • Controls aren't very smooth, and the stick started creaking on the second use
    • The stick feels nice, the throttle moves smoothly
    • the stick has a HUGE deadzone problem
    • I recomend this flight stick for anyone wanting to get to the real action of flight in a game.
    • Would recommend for a nice cheap HOTAS stick
    • Then I flew my first mission and found that the stick was sluggish, there was an actual noticeable delay in the movement of the airplane when imputing motion on the stick and throttle.
    • I especially love that you can twist the stick for different movement bindings as well as move it in the normal way
    • This is a very good flight stick for the price
    • This is a great stick
    • An amazing stick for the price
    • The stick also has annoyingly inconsistent resistance and feels very mushy all around, even after adjusting with the resistance knob
    • Then after probably 50 hours of use over 6 months it would "disengage" and the stick would go totally dead
    • A great basic flight stick that has a lot of features
    • This thing is a very nice stick
    • For now, I guess I'll save up for a better quality flight stick, but even a cheap controller should last for more than a few hours.
    • It's not the best flight stick and hands on throttle(HOTAS) out
    • great flight stick.
    • The stick became squeaky after about 15 hours of use
    • The stick is a joy to use.
    • The stick comes apart and you can have the controller nearly 1 meter apart so your throttle is in your left hand and your flight stick is at your right hand just the right distance apart, the stick is very responsive to every move you make it is a absolutly delight to use, I can only highly recommend it great quality great product.
    • The stick on the T.Flight is much sturdier than my old Saitek, and overall this HOTAS feels a lot more durable
    • I would definitely recommend this stick for any entry lever flight sim enthusiast.
    • The throttle is not stiff at all and has a very toyish feel, the stick too is very easy to move even at the highest resistance level
    • Let's not kid ourselves, there are better flight sticks available, but nothing better for this price
    • The throttle is fine enough (a bit jerky at first, though) but the stick itself it terrible
    • I have used theirs and also think it's a very good stick, especially for the price
    • Great stick
    • This control is not ambidextrous, it is clearly contoured and buttons placed for left hand throttle, right hand stick
    • more expensive sticks might be better but this one absolutely packs a punch at the price point
    • Good flight stick for my flight sims
    • Great HOTAS flight stick for Elite: Dangerous.
    • This is a great stick for the price
    • This is a great stick and hotas setup for the price
    • ~- One of the cheapest HOTAS sticks you'll
    • This is a great starter stick!
    • It can expand out so you can have the throttle control on your left or right and the joy stick on the opposite side or you can leave them connected together
    • Great flight stick for the money
    • Logitech and others had reasonably priced sticks for my level of gaming
    • I do recommend this stick still, great fun
    • I do recommend this stick still, great fun

    • Cool stick
    • This is a good flight stick
    • Great stick, great price
    • The stick feels really nice although not as solid as it could be
    • I love my flight stick, dude
    • Awesome stick lasted for 7 years
    • The stick is a little on the light side weight wise but the included Velcro footing secures it nicely to any surface
    • Obviously, it does not have all the bells and whistles the much more expensive flight stick have but for the money is a great value
    • You won't find a better flight stick for cheaper.
    • Couldn't ask for a better flight stick for the money.
    • I suggest you have space so you can put the stick on one side and the throttle on the other
    • The feel of this product won't be as premium as more expensive flight sticks
    • I would highly recommend this stick
    • I like the Flight Stick very much
    • The stick is comfortable and easy to use
    • I highly recomend this flight stick.
    • Great stick for such a low price
    • Could be a really good stick if it vibrates.
    • It works just like it did from day one, however the stick has been a little squeaky, but it doesn't affect the performance of the stick
    • I do not recommend this flight stick to anyone.
    • Increasing the tension screw on the bottom of the joystick helped a little, but this stick still felt much worse than my old Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro
    • Best stick you can buy for under $100, but limited in what it can do
    • This stick often lose a connection to one of its axes
    • I recommended this flight stick to all my friends and not even one of them complained about the quality of this product.
    • great stick
    • The TM stick Throttle combo is very good
    • As well, stick/throttle stability when separated leaves a little to be desired
    • I would recommend this flight stick to everyone
    • The secondary stick is difficult to perform micro-adjustments on.
    • Adjustable stick tension
    • This is one of the better budget sticks you will find
    • The stick and throttles are far enough apart to place a keyboard between them.
    • For the price, very economical but still useful flight stick
    • Great stick for the money.
    • The only issue I noticed was the super sensitive flight stick, which caused me to really get used to the flying
    • This may not be the best stick ever but it is outstanding for its price
    • The stick feels great, and the material jutting out of it to hold the rest of your hand is really appreciated
    • i love this flight stick!
    • Once you get use to the high sensitivity of this stick, it is a very good stick.
    • Also, the dead, or null zones are about the same as any other stick I've used
    • The stick doesn't feel super amazing, but it works for playing around in games
    • The stick doesn't feel super amazing, but it works for playing around in games
    • Adjustable stick tension
    • If you want a great flight stick for the price, buy this right now and don't even read the rest of the review
    • I remember using their TOp Gun stick in the MiG Alley days in PC
    • Very good flight stick for the price, and it seems to work with presets on most of the games I've tried it with.
    • Awsome stick
    • All of the combat functions can be mapped to the throttle handle or the stick
    • probably the most inexpensive Stick-and-Throttle "set" on the market
    • I am certain my complaints about this stick are largely personal preference, it is a well made stick, just not my cup of tea.
    • The T-Flight is what I would call a smart stick control, it has many of the flight sim programs already set up and you can setup more almost on the fly
    • There are better sticks.... but the price tag on them can cause a heartattack
    • I find out AFTER I have moved on to the PS4( I have yet to see if it works on PS4, but even if it does there are not many games that call for a stick like this))The T-Flight is a great stick for the price-point
    • Unless your application is something like DCS and really demands a plethora of buttons and macros, I can't emphasize how great this stick is for the money
    • Overall, it's really a great stick and definitely a purchase I recommend.
    • This is a great flight stick
    • For the money this stick is very good
    • Great flight stick for a very low
    • LOLJust when you don't think this stick gets any cooler, then you take it
    • So when I was praying one night, I did ask for an opinion from GOD and Jesus of what would be the best stick for me to have
    • Ace combat does not support Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick.
    • The reviews here were really good and it seemed like a decent stick for the price.
    • Great stick, only problem is it need more buttons
    • As a HOTAS, its performance isn't particularly earth-shattering: the stick is a bit dull/muddy in terms of response, and the throttle is a little sloppy
    • awesome flight stick :) and driving programs
    • great stick for the price, so far working well, feels and looks great
    • But eventually the stick became a little loose or something, and no amount of calibration was able to fix the constant drift to one side.
    • Good stick for the enthusiast
    • Yes the $200 sticks are smoother and more ruggedly built, but this joystick is everything I could hope at under $50
    • I think this is one of the best flight sticks I have ever used
    • If I could afford a better stick, I'd buy it.
    • , I recommend this to anyone in the market for a well priced flight stick that does more than the basic $25 versions.
    • you want a solid stick on a budget, this is a
    • Stick will hold steady while not touching it, then all of the sudden it pulls up hard for a split second, then back to center, does it in all games, dont believe its a calibration issue.
    • Other than the deadzone, the stick is quite nice: lots of buttons, good feel, easy to configure
    • The stick is now collecting dust in the closet, as a fallback in case my existing stick breaks and I can't wait for a replacement.
    • In Space!!GREAT stick and throttle combo
    • (I use will wilco adds-on)The quality of joystick itself is good with long cable to connect it and you can use the stick and throttle as one item or dissociate it as two item with distance about 50 cm away from each otherIt has a lot of buttons (about 12) you can configure them as you
    • It's a nice stick, it's inexppensive, but Star Citizen does not have a default profile for it yet
    • the stick itself is awesome as well, nothing bad to say about it.
    • This is also a very good "starter" flight stick to see if games which use it interest you
    • The only complaint I personally could give would be that there is a small dead zone around the centered position of the stick, but other than that, it's very responsive, the buttons are easy to reach without having to remove your hands from the controls, and both the throttle and the stick feel great in your hands
    • Its not as feature rich as the more expensive sticks, but for the price of this currently at 40 dollars its a AMAZING stick, and really helps immerse yourself in flight/space games
    • Amazing stick
    • Anyways here's my normal breakdown:+ Stick is easy to grip and doesn't cause fatigue after long
    • Got this stick for a friend to use on a PS3 game (Blazing Angels1&2) but the dang thing wouldn't work with that game
    • The stick has 100% of the PS3 buttons mapped, and you can remap 100% so this will work with any game with Helo, or jets
    • awesome flight stick
    • For the record, I've owned numerous joysticks and stick and throttle combinations; I'm very happy with this one from Thrustmaster, who I used to regard as making somewhat flimsy sticks
    • This stick is awesome for flight games (HAWX, Raider) and for beginner to sims (FSX, DCS, Lock-On).Buttons & Controls: 3/5Most of the basic controls are provided on that hardware
    • I particularly like that some of the "good" buttons are easy to hit quickly, while others are hard to hit accidentally (while still being easily reachable).Throttle stick.
    • Best flight stick for the money, really great for Elite: Dangerous.
    • Love this throttle/stick combo
    • it's kinda clunky in terms of actual hand fit, but if you're wanting a really good entry level flight stick for games like Elite Dangerous, this will do everything you need.
    • In the end, I think this is a fantastic stick, especially for the price
    • The lights stayed on showing it was getting a signal but the stick was dead
    • The stick is accurate as is the throttle.
    • I don't actually use the throttle because I like preset throttle percentages (I almost always use my cruise control in my car), so I can't speak too much for the throttle, but the stick is wonderful.
    • If you play flight games or Elite Dangerous, then I highly recommend this flight stick, for the price point you just can't beat it.
    • I would recommend this flight stick to anyone.
    • Its a good stick
    • I love this stick
    • The twist can be locked closed, the throttle detached, the buttons completely reprogramed with non volatile memory, stick has adjustable tension
    • There is an adequate number of buttons for any application within the game, and you will not find a better flight stick at this price point.
    • The throttle part of the unit was fantastic but the stick is super sketchy
    • A realy great budget flight stick.
    • I find the Hotas X stick movement / tension / spring far superior than what you'll find on more expensive Saitek / MadCatz sticks like the Mad
    • Good product, a bit flimsy, and not a solid stick, but works for a beginner.
    • A great flight stick for the price.
    • This is probably the best flight stick for PC and ps3 available anywhere.
    • Great stick that never gave me any heartache
    • The cable that connects the throttle and the stick is not very long
    • Obviously it cannot compare to the top-end flight sticks, but for a first-time flight stick + throttle user, this performs solidly
    • This is a great Joy Stick and Throttle.
    • Best flight stick for the money, really great for Elite: Dangerous.
    • The stick itself is actually very comfortable - it reminds me of the old Logitech Wingman Extreme stick
    • Good starter flight stick
    • I previously used a Logitech Attack 3 stick before upgrading to
    • It's a good flight stick, but the Extreme 3D
    • For the record, I've owned numerous joysticks and stick and throttle combinations; I'm very happy with this one from Thrustmaster, who I used to regard as making somewhat flimsy sticks
    • The stick its self is great
    • With the full size throttle control, well-positioned buttons, and smooth stick response, the gaming experience is excellent
    • An excellent flight stick
    • Exceptional flight stick for a very low price
    • I bought it through Amazon at a great price and would recommend this stick to anybody.
    • Its not as feature rich as the more expensive sticks, but for the price of this currently at 40 dollars its a AMAZING stick, and really helps immerse yourself in flight/space games
    • Thrust stick works and all buttons are responsive, but actual flight stick did not work
    • I like my flight stick to be in the middle
    • This is an amazing stick(/throttle)!
    • The only complaint I personally could give would be that there is a small dead zone around the centered position of the stick, but other than that, it's very responsive, the buttons are easy to reach without having to remove your hands from the controls, and both the throttle and the stick feel great in your hands
    • I wanted to like this stick.
    • Still a great stick.
    • I have been struggling between this one and the more expensive Saitek Flight Stick
    • I also tried the stick in Linux using Kubuntu 11.04 64-bit, and like Windows, the stick was auto-detected and ready to go without me having to do anything more than plug it in.
    • The stick feels quite stiff and it seems to squeak whenever it's moved, making it not so accurate for most flying games
    • The swapable stick and throttle handles is very handy and clever.
    • This stick is too delicate for playing combat sims.
    • Great Joystick for PC, and ps4.I bought this for my PC, really needed a flight stick, and wanted a throttle as well, totally worth it, the stick is very smooth and setting it up with software is easy
    • What a fantastic product the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick is very robust and just feel right in your hands, playing Hawx 2 on both Playstation 3 and on PC the stick is absolutly great
    • Good stick for a good price.
    • Overall though, I really like this stick.
    • The throttle moves well the stick is very responsive
    • Stick is more sturdy and has an excellent feel, with adjustable resistance
    • The rudder function can be contolled by the flightstick by twisting the stick to the lft or right or there is a button on the throttle you can use
    • I was impressed by this throttle stick combo with plenty of buttons for PC flight sim-ing
    • also, I made sure to calibrate it properly, so that issues with dead zone, play in the movements is the stick itself.
    • I thought it would feel cheap for the price, but it's a very solid stick
    • Great stick, only problem is it need more buttons
    • I have enjoyed this flight stick for the most part.
    • Thoes who wants good hotas flight stick but doesn't want to spend too much money on it, buy
    • Great starter HOTAS sticks
    • The construction feels cheap...mosty plastic, and the sticks and even some of the buttons are very noisy during usage
    • The one downside is that i wish it had more bottom weight as well as a longer cord when you split the stick and throttle
    • For $50, you cannot get more satisfaction and functionality from an inexpensive flight stick
    • really good flight stick for the price
    • The stick seems sturdy and has weight to help it to be stationary
    • HiThis is a pretty good stick for the money
    • I still remember playing atari and regular nintendo, this is a great joy stick and throttle control for flight games, I use it with my PS3, the only problem is the cable is a little short.
    • My quest for a programmable usb joystick and throttle combination for XP led me to the super affordable T-Flight Hotas USB Controller.
    • I bought this to play Elite: Dangerous (I
    • I bought it to better play Elite: Dangerous (I backed it from inception and have had acces from alpha builds
