Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick

    • Control is nice and smooth* Reasonable priceSome negative things (mostly trivial)
    • I can happily report that I am stunned at how well this thing performs
    • So I got what I thought would be the next best thing
    • On the other hand, I wasn't expecting great things from a device at this price
    • the throttle is smooth but the only thing that i dont like is the center stop
    • The things I didn't really like about the Saitek were it was not heavy enough and thus tended to move around to easily, it just did not feel very solid, and the buttons didn't seem very high quality
    • This thing is worth every
    • I love this thing
    • Only bad thing is, it squeaks a little
    • Since all of my positive experiences are contained in other people's reviews I thought I would just point out the best things and the things that could be better
    • This thing works flawlessly.
    • Works great one of the best things I have purchased for flight Sims
    • The only thing i have had a problem with is the Alan wrench that comes with it is very hard to get out of its storage slot without a butter knife or a flathead screwdriver.
    • The thing is sturdy, has twelve buttons usable in games, and up to five axis thanks to having a rudder rocker in the throttle AND a swivelling stick (the Saitek X52's lack of a rudder rocker in the throttle was a primary factor in my not buying it)
    • I have yet to use it with any other games, but I'm sure it will prove to be compatible with anything due to the fact that the system can be remapped (although this could prove to be a rather complicated task). Some of my favorite things that this product features are:1.The versatility
    • Definitely recommend it as the first thing to do to improve your space sim experience in particular
    • its really good, the only bad thing is its really big that take a lot of space on the desk
    • Some good things
    • Overall highly recommended, unless you're one of those gaming addicts that's gotta have the best thing out there
    • However this thing is awesome
    • It's nice, feels pretty solid, Lots button options There are a couple of buttons I might have done something different with like the 2 button is in kind of an awkward spot but honestly this thing seems like an incredible value
    • Honestly, this thing is fantastic
    • I love this thing, I had a Saitek I used for my PC before this
    • Bigger than I expected, not that it's a bad thing
    • One thing worth mentioning is the twist action on the joystick sucks.
    • Okay one more thing, my previous joystick was a extreme pro 3 and maybe just because I was used to it or not, I don't like the design of the joystick itself as well as the 3d pro's design
    • I thought this joystick would have a dead zone which is a horrible thing to have in video games
    • in the realm of GoG and the Star Wars series I can say this thing is lovely!
    • This thing looks OK, for the money, and it worked right out of the box
    • So, this thing DOES look like an old 15pin PC controller from 1997 but when you put your hands on it, you can really feel the ergonomics of
    • Almost like the real thing
    • Really the only good thing I can say is that this is the cheapest option be a factor of 2x
    • THE BOX, BECAUSE NOW I AM STUCK WITH THE STUPID THING!!!!!
    • for the price you can't even begin to get a HOTAS controller, this thing is great
    • Battlefield 3 specific: You will definitely want to lookup the config file edit that removes the "dead zone" from the stick, as it makes things feel more responsive
    • To be fair, I may have received a faulty unit but calibrating this thing was simply ridiculous...it never performed
    • Also this thing is SOLID.
    • its really good, the only bad thing is its really big that take a lot of space on the desk
    • not good at staying on my desk, REALLY ANNOYING WHEN TRYING TO- gun the throttle or stop it short, or do some dramatic cool moves like pull up hard with the joystick, it feels like the thing will fly off my desk a bit, and it really breaks the immersion, still would definitely recommend though
    • All said and done, at the retail price point of 50 bucks, this thing is awesome.
    • Another good thing is the fact that it's a Thrustmaster stick, since they are known for producing what is arguably the best high end flight stick on the market (the Hotas Warthog). This won't come with all the realism effects of the high-end sticks, but at the same time you won't have to pay over $200 to get it
    • The only bad thing is that it is a bit loose, poorly assembled
    • Forget this HOTAS if these things sound annoying to you
    • One nice thing is the rocker control on the throttle side which I use instead of rudder pedals
    • Bad:-Cable connecting the thrust to the stick is slightly short.-Fairly big (I have small hands so this isn't really a bad thing but thought I'd mention it
    • One important thing to note is that you will probably want to change the axis mode from 4 to 5 by hitting central button on the base of the throttle (I believe it glows red when it is in 4-axis mode, and it glows green when it is in 5-axis mode)
    • the throttle is smooth but the only thing that i dont like is the center stop
    • This thing is awesome!
    • But surprisingly this thing is great for flight games like Elite: Dangerous
    • The quick start guide explains which buttons are mapped to which functions by default for Flight Simulator X. Turns out the same mapping applies to FS 2004 as well! There is one thing to be aware of: on the throttle is an LED-lit "home" button.
    • Control is nice and smooth* Reasonable priceSome negative things (mostly trivial)
    • The impressive thing about my experience is that the assigned representative remained in contact with me almost daily with updates and assistance to try and determine a solution
    • This thing was fantastic for about three months
    • Great thing to play elite dangerous in vr with
    • I was originally looking for the most realistic thing that I could find, but was on a tight budget and decided that it would make more sense to get a joystick, at this time, given that I also a more realist experience with helicopters as well
    • This thing is just superb...works like a boss
    • Pretty much cheap is the only good thing about it and it will feel cheap when you use it.
    • The only thing i don't like is when twisting the joystick right or left, the Joystick handle has a piece of plastic that bulges out just a little bit
    • This thing is great
    • I really like this thing.
    • My son informs me that this thing works great with his xbox 1.
    • For $50 this thing is WAY worth it
    • And you will notice that this thing is cheap
    • You can split this thing into two if you wanted like I see a lot of people
    • best thing i bought for playing EliteDangerous been using it for a few months now and it still working good, a few numbers on the buttons wore off from to much use no doubt!
    • best thing i bought for playing EliteDangerous been using it for a few months now and it still working good, a few numbers on the buttons wore off from to much use no doubt!
    • I love this thing for playing xpane 11
    • The ability to attach the 2 units into a single piece is also really great for keeping things neat.
    • Pretty much cheap is the only good thing about it and it will feel cheap when you use it.
    • This thing is awesome
    • First impressions, its bigger than I had anticipated (a good thing), very well made, looks like it could take a pretty good beating.
    • Love this thing and although I've been thinking about buying a flight "YOKE" to more closely resemble the 737 that I fly daily - I have resisted it because this puppy is just a GREAT VALUE and works perfectly with my game of
    • Great thing to play elite dangerous in vr with
    • Nice thing is using the 3 side buttons on the throttle as modifiers
    • It's not a flimsy thing, it's got weight and performs well.
    • Funny thing is there is really no shear motion except for thepressing inward of the buttons and the loose tolerance of the hole thebutton sits in
    • OMG I love this thing
    • So, mine is going back to Amazon for a refund and the next best thing up from
    • My quest for a programmable usb joystick and throttle combination for XP led me to the super affordable T-Flight Hotas USB Controller.
    • I bought this to play Elite: Dangerous (I
    • I bought it to better play Elite: Dangerous (I backed it from inception and have had acces from alpha builds
