Add one of those portable USB charger things and you basically got a wireless battery operated lightbox.

Sometimes can't even get the damn thing to turn on, even while plugged in.

Then when I saw Dad looking at negatives on his own and he called me to see the ship he had served on during WWII, I knew I'd found the perfect thing for him.

It's easy to hit the max-brightness setting even though the on/off button is a capacitive potentiometer for the intensity, which is usually not a good thing.

For someone like me, a dabbler and doodler, it's the perfect thing.

Only thing that would make it better would be to include a wall outlet adapter to plug the USB cord into, instead of having to buy that separately.

I purchased the A4 g-thin LED Light box to use while travelling, but I was skeptical at first because I did not think it would be bright enough compared to the big box that I currently use at home powered with two light bulbs, but after using the Ultra-thin I was pleasantly surprised now I use it all the time, even at home but my only complaint is the light keeps turning off either by my hand touching the on/off
