Cons; Alert sound easily muffled if Tile is placed in wallet or purse.

Does as advertised, easy to set up, but the sound it makes is so weak that it can't be heard if the tile is in a pocket or purse.

Then I went to try the tile slim, and that played a sound, no problem

Even when working, the sound that helps you find the tile is weak and easily muffled by cushions, clothes, etc.

The Tile is ok,but I thought the sound it makes when you are looking for something would be a little louder than it is.

The 2nd generation is even better with the sound being louder and the ability to use the tile to find your phone.

It shoukd have a loud sound when your looking for your key and should have a flashing light

The range on the tile seems to be pretty good, usually 20-30 feet, but the sound is not loud at all, and the map isnt very accurate

Initially works well, but sound could be a little louder - and the sound seems to have worn out on one tile after a couple of weeks...though to be fair we did put it on the cat's collar so it has been knocked around a little bit.

Turn off sounds doesn't work.

I have heard that they now have a stronger sound that the Tile can play and that would help tremendously but its not the situation with the old model.

With this device the potential weaknesses are many - for me it works very well - but I wish (and I have heard) that the sound is louder on the new generation

It does what it advertises, but the sound it makes is far twoo quiet, and sometimes it disconnect from my phone when it's well within range.
